    Vacuum bag fragrance

I normally use a dryer sheet or laundry fragrance beads. I'm actually not a huge fan of the Clean Sweep chips but I do have some that I use with my Lux machines.

Price comparison between the Miele's and the Shop-vac's

Filtration, noise level, ergonomics, and aesthetics. Miele makes vacuums that filter the air better, are quieter, more comfortable to use, and better looking. If you don't care about any of that stuff them save yourself $300+ by buying a Shop Vac, they make a 1.5 gallon all-rounder that's excellent.

    Vacuum Buying Question...

I bought a Dyson DC-26 just because it’s so tiny and cute. I’m hanging onto my Filter Queen just because of how it looks, even though I prefer my Princess III for its functionality.

    Hoover T-Series Incoming

I had a more basic T series for a bit, that was actually the newest Hoover that I've used. I haven't had it for a few years and I also had no idea the T series machines were still in production. It was decent I suppose, I bought it primarily for my mom as something easy for her to use but I used...

    shark may be in trouble

That would be disappointing, Shark makes surprisingly effective vacuums, I own a Powered Lift Away and the amount of dirt it picks up surprises me every time I use it. They're all plasticy junk but they do perform very decently and filter acceptably well. I wouldn't and don't hesitate to...

    Fantom Thunders

I agree with the above, it's probably because it's posted in the vintage section. Even though the machines may technically be vintage, it would get more interest in contemporary. That's awesome though btw, I used to have a Thunder and it really was a great cleaner. I'd love to find another one...

Do you think canister vacuum sales will eventually end in the US?

It's funny you mention Bed Bath and Beyond, I was just there the other day. Mine has a Miele canister and a Bissell canister. They may have also had a Dyson canister but I don't remember exactly. The Bissell had the weird turbine nozzle they sell for hard floors and I don't remember whether the...

    Oreck Rebadged As Royal

I was just talking to the guy at my local Oreck store about this machine because I noticed he had a few. He said that they wanted an entry-level machine for the Royal brand so they used the Oreck design since TTI already holds the patents for it. It's interesting that the Oreck store near my...

Bissell ANNA Vacuum.. Great in theory, but already discontinued

    I completely understand, thanks!

Dyson DC07 Animal - Clutch knob stuck

Even if the brush looks fine it still may be a good idea to go ahead and replace it for only $15, especially since you'd already have it taken apart. Replacing the post motor filter would be a great idea, I know the HEPA filter on my DC-14 was in awful shape after about 4 years. Mostly just...

Dyson DC07 Animal - Clutch knob stuck

If you do decide to replace or repair the clutch assembly then it may be a good idea to replace the agitator as well, here's a link to one for 15 bucks on Ebay...

    Richmond Vacuum Cleaning Machine 1907-1911?

It would be awesome if you could get pictures of the inlets, that would also help someone locate a hose that may work with them if you'd like to make the system functional. I'm not sure whether it would be advisable to use the system for regular cleaning or not, but it definitely is a neat...

I GOT A FANTOM FURY AT LAST!!!

Yeah if your Thunder was "fully functional" then it would've picked up a lot more than nothing. They're actually decent vacuums. I also tend to prefer bagged vacuums but I won't deny that good bagless vacuums exist.

    Dream vac acquired! Fantom Thunder!

AmwayClearTrak Email me at [email protected], I have a black Thunder handle for you.

I GOT A FANTOM FURY AT LAST!!!

Nice Fury! I'm not surprised that it picked up a decent amount of dirt after the DC-07. The brushroll on the Thunder that I used to have was more effective than the DC-07's brush, I don't think the design of the floor head that Dyson used on the 07 and 14 was very effective.

    $30 Dyson eBay Find

Nice! I had a DC-24 and of course it would be hard to find a vacuum that wouldn't out-clean it, but they're definitely convenient and compact. They clean well enough for what they are, I used to clean houses and one of my customers exclusively used her two DC-24s. Her carpets were surprisingly...

    Vacuums at my Goodwill

My reason for persuading you to purchase the Prolux is that you haven't really used any bagged vacuums but you're so adverse to the idea of owning one. It's fine to have an opinion, but it bothers me when people develop opinions on ideas without giving the opposing option a chance. Nice Fury...

Bissell ANNA Vacuum.. Great in theory, but already discontinued

I've seen the Anna on Amazon before and had a hard time finding much info about it. Would you be able to make a video of it for Youtube? I can't even locate it on Amazon anymore, but the last time I saw it the price was over $500 and that's a lot more than I'm willing to spend on a Bissell with...
