Hi Guys, just got a DA001 for my birthday, its even got the original instructions, the release spray, the zorb and the machine is all original! Got a dc04 zorbster hopper,instructions and floorhead just need the machine :P

There was a thread reccently for cloth bag cleaning and i mentioned I used my dirt devil 150 to clean the bags. I love it because the brushroll can dig into thick kirby bags and dislodge dirt before washing them!

When all the vintage vacuums blow, its time to update with a MODERN vacuum. Not all are junk, some people just dont like change. I have plenty of modern cleaners, some collectors dont collect anything past the 70's cause its too modern.

The same way anyone can say a turbopower 1 is solid! In my opinion, the dc01's are solid because the plastic is strong where it is needed, for examle the cyclone handle. Never seen one with a crack in! Guess im not your average collector! :)

The Dyson Dc01's Are my most favourite Dyson! They are very solid, groom well and have the perfect amount of suction. Can't wait for the pictures!

For vacuums with bags, I take them apart and use my Dirt Devil 150 to vacuum the bag out, or just my henry/medi-vac :P My favourite part of taking apart vintage vacuums has to be cleaning the bag out. Nothing like a clean , fresh smelling bag!
