    dreams came true

Shane, Those are nice little cleaners. I had one in the late '80's - early '90's, the white colored one with the blue accents and bag with red lettering. I loaned it to a friend and that's the last I saw of it. I don't loan vacs to friends or family anymore. They don't appreciate or know how to...

    What vacuums do you use?

At home I use Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition, Hoover 36, and will be using Hoover 66 after I've done a bit more work on it. Here at my parents house I've been using my Mom's Kirby Sentria II upstairs and her Sentria in the basement. I've been trying to help her catch up on housework while...

Kirby Tradition found at Goodwill today

Can't a Heritage paper bag set-up be installed in Traditions to fix that small bag tube with the reduced air flow problem? Somehow in the back of my mind I was thinking this was possible or am I imagining things?

    A Day at the Museum

While I was setting in a chair by the door just inside the museum a couple were signing the guest book before leaving. I asked them where they were from and he replyed "New Zealand". He had gone to school at Missouri University of Science and Technology or University of Missouri, Rolla, as we...

    A Day at the Museum

My Great-Grandmother had an Airway like this. Tom told me this color (model) was pretty rare. Guess I should have kept it but I didn't know at the time.

    A Day at the Museum

I called Tom at the Vacuum Cleaner Museum & Factory Outlet last week and set up a time to go down to St. James. He said Wednesday (yesterday) would be good for him, so I told him I'd be there. I got there between 10:30 and 11:00 and spent the day. He gave me a tour through the museum to show me...

    Clock Repair Help!!!

See link. Reply #19 may help you. Also check coil on laminate field for continunity where power supply is soldered on. You should get a resistance reading in ohms. 0 ohms or infinite means the coil is no good. Pretty much like above reply.[this post was last edited: 12/9/2014-04:29]...

    Kirby Sprayer Attachement

Hi Ben, For some reason the spray gun looks dark green on both my desktop and my iPad. That's why I thought it was from a Sanitronic 80. Maybe it's his camera or my eyes. Lol. I know about the grays and blacks. The new Avalir is an attractive cleaner. I wouldn't mind having one, but I don't...

That's a Dual Sanitronic 80 sprayer from the late '60's. It's dark green, I think.

    Hoover Convertible 66

OK. I did an experiment. I put a new bag in the 36 and took the whole thing off and put it on the 66. The air flow did increase some, so I think that fill tube is part of the trouble. Will, I think you're right. That burned coil is slowing the motor down just a bit. Between those two things the...
