    Philip, I do believe that is an original bag. I got mine NIB and it has a white and gold bag with no markings on it. As for the inner bag, it is a Eureka F&G bag, the genuine Premiere ones were bubblegum pink. Sam

    Help I.D. an upright vacuum and solve a mystery

    Hi, I reviewed your photo, The vacuum is a Hoover Convertible Special model 33.It's color is Dusky Lavender. Production on the 33 ended in December of 1963, I'm not sure about the beginning of production but I am assuming late 1962. Hope this helps

    well, I think you would be best to get the materials and pack it yourself. pick a box that is larger than our singer, fill the bottom with foam peanuts, then take the base of cleaner and either place in a bag full of shredded paper or wrap well with bubble wrap place in box on top of peanuts...

    I also had a great day at Goodwill !!

    that is an excellent model, we got ours and mother(who is hard on vacs) didnt destroy it. The restaurant I worked at had one too, from around 2001, they still had it when I left there in Jan 2007. It says alot if it can hold up that long under such harsh conditions
