    Beautiful houses

Our house. Our house is a typical 1970's 3 bedroom semi like lots that you see nowadays. Normally the houses like ours have long driveway's with a freestanding garage at the end, but ours has been extended, with the garage built in level with the front of the house, allowing for a slightly...

    Beautiful houses

Well. Your house Chris looks virtually identical to the one's near me, even down to the little balcony things that you can't walk on. The only difference is the ones near us are made from modern bricks that all new houses are made from, whereas yours looks like Yorkshire Stone, and looks nicer...

    Beautiful houses

Homes. I love upside-down houses Chris, there's some newer style townhouses built about eight years ago near me like that, with the garage at the bottom. It gives the house a bit of individuality.   We stayed in an upside-down house some years ago on holiday in Scotland. It had the kitchen...

    Sebo X4 bag leaking?!?!

Tayyab... Sorry for the confusion, I meant to type 'aware' but typed 'away' by mistake. Problem now rectified.   Yes, in a few months time BBC Three will be 'online only' so probably through iPlayer.

    Sebo X4 bag leaking?!?!

Well I don't know if you're aware Tayyab, but BBC3 are whistling down their content as the BBC are getting rid of BBC3 as a TV channel to become an online only channel.

    Sebo X4 bag leaking?!?!

Off topic I know it's a bit off topic, but what a bunch of losers these people are.   If they think that they can live independently, then I'm the Pope.

Anybody after a Dyson DC03 Clear?

I know that these are getting hard to come by nowadays, especially one that appears to be complete, whereas some have replacement parts.   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DYSON-DC03-VACUUM-CLEANER-WITH-TOOLS-/261931342833?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3cfc531bf1

Can you help me identify grandma's washing machine???

Nice machines. They were great machines, we had a similar variant over in the UK. Even though front loaders make up around 98% of washing machine bought in the UK, Hotpoint made traditional top loading style machines for 20+ years until about 1998/1999. My grandmother had a Hotpoint 9605...

How often do people come across bad power cables on vacuums?

Citroen Maybe seanc was on about a different episode of Watchdog, from when the machines were new, not the Rogue Traders report a couple of years ago.

Dyson DC05 Motorhead bagless Dual cyclonic cylinder vacuum with HEPA+ filter and bactiguard screen!

DC05 I managed to get a DC05 'Absolute Plus' for next to nothing a few months ago, due to a cracked handle. It must be a weak point on the DC05's as I have seen pictures of them before where the handles have indeed snapped.   Apart from that it's been a good workhorse. My only gripe with it...

Hoover Turbopower U2806 (mail order) 1996

Michael Absolutely smashing restoration there! Even though by the end of the 90s they were budget machines, they were way better than the budget machines we have now!   Well done!
