Selling some machines! Take a look!

Next up a Eureka Eureka upright I found about 5 years ago. It's a really nice example of this late 80's 4.8 amp metal hood machine. Model 631D; manufacture stamp of October 1987. Never rebuilt it, because it was extremely clean and a strong runner. I think I upgraded the brushroll to a VGII...

Selling some machines! Take a look!

It's time to sell some machines and thin the herd a bit. Take a look and send me an email if interested - my email address is listed in my profile. I'd rather see these machines go to collectors than deal with the hassle of listing them on eBay. I think the prices I've listed are reasonable...

    Hoover convertible

Wow, great work!! That machine was the absolute bottom of the line, not even having a height adjustment. I've never one like that in person, only the spec sheet. It would be a good machine to hang on to just for the rarity of it. Welcome to VacummLand!!

Ms. Marie Pazera of Bellefontaine Neighbors' Eureka Empress

Yay Acutions! That's such a lovely find... And in the box, too! Those attachments are plentiful, you'll find more easily. I may have a hose for that cleaner, I'll have to look tonight when I get home.

Hoover's Engineering and Manufacturing facilities...at your service!

Going through some of my shelves of vacuum literature, I pulled a neat one out the other day. I've had it for quite some time, I don't recall exactly where or when I got it. Nonetheless, it's an oversized "Life" magazine-sized 32 page publication put out by the Hoover Company in 1956...

    Miele S7210 Repair Issue

Have you tried calling Miele customer service? Not sure how far that will get you, but it's worth a shot. There are some members on this forum who have ties to Miele, I'm pretty sure. Perhaps one of them may be able to chime in. Good luck!

    hoover connie timeline please?

I'd be fairly sure the Constellation timeline/models has been discussed before -- try using the "Dirt Finder Search" http://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-DDSearchalator.cgi

To make a correction to a statement above, to attend the VCCC convention, one needs to be a member of the Vacuum Cleaner Collector's Club -- the Vacuum Cleaner Collector's Club and Vacuumland.org are two completely separate entities.

    Presenting...The 1956 Westinghouse..NEW!!!

Wow Hans! That's such an amazing find! You're definitely the one who deserves to have that displayed proudly under your big Westinghouse banner. I remember seeing that when Robb brought it to the North Canton convention in 2008 - there aren't words to even describe how beyond perfect the...

New Motor and Mods for a Hoover Constellation

Hey Rob, yep, we must have. I don't think I had to modify the hose end at all; it was just a nice coincidence that it fit. There are two little 'tabs' that were able to sort of lock it in place. I may have put some reinforcement inside the opening of the cleaner, as the diameter of the hose...

New Motor and Mods for a Hoover Constellation

I did that with a Constellation model 454 about 10 years ago; I left the original motor, and just added a powernozzle outlet next to the switch. I changed the cord, too. I modified a hose from a more modern Hoover canister (Futura), had to lengthen the pigtail in order for it to reach the...

    EXCELENT SHAPE ELECTROLUX CA!

I'd love to see the original 10' hose, too. I bet that's just beautiful.

Can anyone help me find parts?

Hi Sam! Congrats on a beautiful model 85! That's probably my favorite model of the Constellation. Yes, the motors are interchangable, and you will be able to use the middle piece/bag holder from a model 82 or 84, painted or not, and it will work as a bag support.

    The Hoover 450 Saga

Glad to see that stunning machine found a new home. I agree with what Tom said, that and the model 800 are some of the most beautiful cleaners that Hoover ever produced. The 800 is a favorite of mine in my collection. So glad that the FedEx situation ended well.. we've certainly all had our...

    Mint 1060 Convertible

Was that ever used? The cord doesn't look like it's been unwrapped! Nice find!
