    Numatic vacuums

What's not to love about Numatics? Other than the facts they perform no better than any other straight suctions cylinder on carpets, for everything else and hard flooring, they are bang on. Very simple design, they last forever, very good quality materials, solidly built, large, cheap bags with...

    Computer Woes

I am an IT technician. Where I work there are veterans of the IT industry. Guys there have worked for BAE systems. Nokia, IBM and so many others. Our college has windows PC's mainly with a couple of MAC rooms for the media and music students. We swear by Macs. Their build quality is just sooo...

    No Love for SEBO

No idea. I love SEBO. Their vacuums in my opinion are top notch in every aspect. They are not over priced, at leas tin the UK and their bags are like £1 each. Excellent, hospital standard filtration, exemplary build quality and proper performance. There is no surface which challenges my felix...

You can't really argue Dyson's new video

This thread was about the durability of dysons how they test them for just about everything. The top rated comment was talking about how this is only one test, yet when there is a suggested video that appears in the first video I posted which shows them testing everything else, everyone goes...

You can't really argue Dyson's new video

Argue this then. Right. They test hoses, cables themselves and their rewind mechanism, endurance, bins themselves, the catches, buttons, handles, impact the heads and the tools that go with them. Not really much else you can test them for.

You can't really argue Dyson's new video

Dyson only stopped supporting the DC01 and 02 a year or so ago, so that is what, around 20 years support? Is that not good enough? We are talking pipes, plastic covers, motors, wires, you know, non-disposable items.

You can't really argue Dyson's new video

Dyson have posted videos about this before but somehow this one seems more honest and open. We are forever hearing how Dyson are apparently fragile and poorly built, but the proof is here, and I can justify both of these scenarios. The Vax air products I have had use brittle cheap plastics...

Sebo Felix brochure and manual scans

I like reading manuals as well. You will always finds tips and tricks on how to use the product, like my new Bosch washing machine. If I hadn't have read the manuals, I wouldn't have known I could changed the volume of the beeps and change the default settings on each program. Sounds silly but...

    Seriously?

Those dyson from that era weren't as good as for how much they charged but they were by no means bad. At least they had powerful suction and good room around the roller housing. The point of those tabs is that you can use a coin to access the roller brush. That entire mechanism has never been...

Looking for a modern daily driver

I would recommend this Panaosnic. It performs well, ahs a decent brushbar, bagged obviously, sturdy build quality and is inexpensive. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-MC-UG342-Bagged-Upright-Cleaner/dp/B00N2Z4OIY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1435252743&sr=8-1&keywords=panasonic+bagged+vacuum

    Sebo X4 bag leaking?!?!

The program winds me up. I live on my own with my 17 year old sister (i Just turned 19) due to my father passing away in October last year and my mother disowning me, and it really just makes me laugh. I mean I now work in IT, got quite a good career ahead of me as has my sister. I mean, I dont...

    Vacuum pricing

Dysons are priced similarly in the US than they are in the UK and the rest of Europe. German vacuum cleaners tend to be more expensive due to a combination of what is mentioned above and also the US still has ridiculous tariffs imposed on Germans manufactured goods which stem back to the roaring...

What do you like/love when vacuuming?

I like to see progress. I like to look at where I have done and see how nice and clean it is, similar to cutting the grass. I like to see my work paid off. More over I am a clean freak and vacuuming just gives me pleasure in seeing and knowing my carpets are clean and fresh.

Miele S7210 vs Dyson DC41/65/big ball

Only the lower end S7's have no headlight. The higher end ones do have headlights. Out of the two, I would go for the S7 still.
