GE How long did GE make these models? I have never seen one in real life. I wonder why they were not popular? the swivel tops were around forever it seems.

Convertible Do you have the belt on the right way? I once was at a vac shop, and the guy told me half of the Convertibles that came in had the belt on backwards.

Hoover Mine was the 1020. My parents replaced our old GE from 1948 when they got married with this model. It was such a breeze to use after that old GE. Great machine. My brother got it when they died.

Frypan I always use electric fry pans. Grew up with them. I loved Sunbeams, but they dropped them. I have now a Food Network large pan, and a smaller square Black and Decker. I hate to clean stove tops. Plus, I love the keep warm feature.
