    Some plastic restoration this time. I got this lovely National vacuum in a amazingly good running condition, not even bearing wind down which is odd for its age but cosmetically it was nasty.   So off to the workshop with buffing soap and some finishing creams and multiple buffing wheels

    Some awesome machine you have their.Just be carful they multiply like rabbits and once they get the word out that you take care of them thats when the trouble really starts. Every time i go out some were I find a few more have snuck into my truck

    The motor needed some new bearings, the bakalite housing is almost show worthy on its own when all cleaned up.   It helps to date a machine when the armiture has its date stamped onto it, 16 aug 1974

    My progress 330 3 brush suction polisher This thing is a monster. solid aluminium base and cover, it is a true beast. The oriional bag still intact too which is lovely
