    Kirby Classic 1-CR Restoration

One more thing if you don't mind me saying.... On your fourth pick which triggered my last memory, the back motor housing which covers half way of the back wheels looks like to me the old fender skirts on the older cars. My folks had several cars that had them. I can remember my dad going with...

    Kirby Classic 1-CR Restoration

Fantastic... Congrats, it looks like it came out of the box. Wasn't there a tag on the bag at the top like the ones before, meaning the Duals 50 and 80. I have had some of those tags that were hung by string on the top of the bag. That is all that seems to be missing from you Classic. I...

    Dating An Old Bag

Oh I remember one more thing... The only slight difference between the 562, S VII, and the Dual 50 was the small diamond shaped peice between the Kirby circles, the Dual 50 was darkened and the others 562 and S VII were clear, they were not painted brown. Now this I had asked my local Kirby...

I have talked to the dead... he is still very much alive. This morning hearing about this whole saga, I decided to call and talk to both of them. Kirby Bag Logo Restoration

GE I did.. gold...on a GE straight suction. The logo was nearly gone I had to guess on some of it. I did use a gold gel pen on this. Tried it for the first time, it worked but I had to paint it a couple of times before it satisfied me.
