    Central vacuum

I will add some photos of my dad's unit's. The white unit is a high efficency cyclone. The beige one is a central vacuum international bag unit. Itis just a big reusable cloth bag in their. I know it should have a paper liner for normal use, though this isn't normal use. TThe there is the blue...

Thoughts on the Sebo Balance A1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner?

It truly is a shame what the mainstream vacuum industry is doing and selling. ( at least in my opinion).

I think I will try to fit an old motor from something else in there. I will figure it out I hope. I will have to crack it open and have a look inside.

Thoughts on The Lindhaus Healthcare Pro 14in

In NZ homes are just this small no matter the price. There are bigger homes out there its just that they are millions of dollars.

    Cleaning the House of Hoover!

I have wanted a shiny metal, non-painted, 30s or earlier hoover for quite a while. I just think they are brilliant.

Thoughts on the Sebo Balance A1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner?

The vacuum store also than ran the vk150 again after the Wertheim and it picked up nothing noticeable (using a dirt meter type thing) than the Wertheim picked up a considerable amount more dirt.

Sam Watson is what I want. That is beko1987’s name. Watch some of his videos. I love his rgb Henry and Hoover senior.

Thoughts on the Sebo Balance A1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner?

I know it is probably flawed, however, a vacuum store in Dunedin told me they used a vorwerk vk150 and a Wertheim 7 series and used one than the other until one stopped picking up dirt. That seems more fair to me.

Thoughts on The Lindhaus Healthcare Pro 14in

I used that as an example. That is quite large in nz. In nz a typical home is 800-1100 square feet for a 3 bedroom home. About 20-30% of homes in New Zealand are 600 or less square feet. Your home would be considered large in most areas with large homes in NZ. These sizes are based on areas with...

    Wanting to Test Vacuums

To distribute dust you can use a flour sifter ( the type with a pull trigger that is used in dusting a cake in icing sugar.) and count how many times you pull the trigger. This allows you to pull the trigger and release to evenly cover the rug. 50 grams of dirt is about right for a 4x4 foot rug...

    The new Air-Way Ultra Kleen

My two cents as an owner of a wetheim 7 sseries machine is that they clean well and are relatively quiet. They seem to be good enough at most things including hard floors. They are sterling at carpets though. They are quite heavy compared to other NZ machines, though average in america. I find...

Any info about vintage Bosch Upright Vac?

That looks like a design made... someone. I have seen that design as ge, fakir, Bosch, pye, etc, etc. I know there is at least 8 different varieties of the same thing. I have no clue who made them though. yes this ad does have it between 30 seconds and 45 seconds. This is the ge variety.

    Godfrey's refurbished machines

I forgot to mention that these prices are in aud. after changing the currency and adjusting for inflation. a refurbished Hoover dial-a-matic powerdrive would cost 27 pounds sterling or 35 USD. more prices and ads. 1983: Electrolux z56 and earlier $15 Hoover constellation or Electrolux z56 2...

Thoughts on The Lindhaus Healthcare Pro 14in

Keep in mind that in New Zealand a home for a family of 5 is only about 1600-2000 square feet.

Thoughts on the Sebo Balance A1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner?

I always want to back up my claims with evidence so I will try to provide evidence. I will look on trademe and I will link SOME of the broken dyson's. I know they are somewhat repairable. Though I had the go through about 4-5 layers of screws to clean the cyclone on a V10. I had to do this as it...

    Royal Lux D770

I wish I could get new parts for many of my vacuums. I just don't have the money. Anywho, I have learned to just put it on the "to fix pile" until I have money or time to fix it. I have gotten rid of a few things over the years and regretted it. Lessons learned I suppose. I might try to do a Sam...
