CA motor Charles, I'm getting in on this late, but I wanted to mention that the motor in the CA is NOT the same as in the G. Somewhere in my early days of digital photography I snapped a picture of a motor from the CA and G side by side. It must be gone in a computer crash - I can't locate it...

Hans, the model 20 rug tool is more like the 12 tool, and the floor tool is low tech gray wrinkle finish deal. Electrolux kept it primitive for that model. That's a nice display of tools you have! John

It looks llike an Alto Attix 8. If it is made by Alto it will be good. I bought an Attix 12 5 years ago, and it is an indestructible workhorse, not that I would abuse it, mind you. They're good German engineering.

IIRC, former member Clay Floyd had an internal wire electric hose for the Electrolux Model G. There was a pigtail at the machine end and a pistol grip. The hose color was the usual G colors but there was an additional red tracer. I still do not know if that was a limited run genuine...

I THOUGHT I read to change the water every 30 minutes in the manual but it's not in there today. Maybe I saw it online when researching the D4 SE.
