What's a reasonable price for a hoover convertible?

Those are really cool. They look almost art deco. I like the way they look better than the newer ones. That one from 1965 with the light cover that lights up is very cool.

What's a reasonable price for a hoover convertible?

Hmc1981, I also wanted to ask about that Kirby in your picture. The small Kirby's are so cool. When did they make those? I might have to try finding one of those for upstairs instead of the hoover.

What's a reasonable price for a hoover convertible?

I tried it and it is much easier to carry that way. I would never have thought about carrying it like that. Yeah people get crazy on ebay. I would also be concerned about buying something I couldn't plug in first. If there was something wrong with it I couldn't fix it. The most technical ability...

What's a reasonable price for a hoover convertible?

Yes I carry it by the handle grip. How else could I carry it?

What's a reasonable price for a hoover convertible?

Yours is nice too. Yeah, like you I can't really afford to spend much on collectible stuff right now so I try to make the stuff functional as well considering my boyfriend's collectibles aren't in any way functional. He collects vintage toys.😑 I want a hoover upright to keep upstairs so I don't...

What's a reasonable price for a hoover convertible?

Those are really nice. I will have to keep trying CL and thrift stores. So far the only vacuums I've found on either have been bagless newer ones and a couple of orecks.

What's a reasonable price for a hoover convertible?

I've always thought hoover uprights were cool and I wouldn't mind having one. So I was checking them out on ebay and WTF?? I couldn't believe how much people want for a hoover convertible on there! I get that some of them are rare and highly collectible and I don't know much about vintage...

    Best dusting brush attachment is...

That side winder thing looks really cool. I wanted to ask about the Kirby zip brush. That's one thing that didn't come with my G4. What exactly is it for? Dusting or like for vacuuming hair off a sofa? I see them on ebay but I don't know what they are used for.

    Best dusting brush attachment is...

The original dusting brush for my eureka princess was trashed when it was given to me. It actually looked like the bristles were melted or something. I ordered a replacement brush online and I got a natural bristle one. But when I got it the bristles blocked the opening and instead of sucking...

    What is your bag preference?

For my Kirby I use the generic paper bags. We have 2 dogs that shed so the bags get full pretty quick. The hepa bags are too expensive. I'm not like a cheapskate or anything, it's just that owning a house is more expensive than I realized it was going to be. I used whatever bags I could find in...

    A gaggle of Airway

Those are awesome. Are you using upright vacuums as power nozzles?? That's way cool! I bet that gives a lot of power.

I think I’m sticking to bagged

I only had to empty my shark after I vacuumed the entire house but right under the bag canister is this foam rubber filter and it got so filthy after each use that I ended up having to vacuum it with my canister every time I used it. Bags are way better!

Does anyone have a diy recipie for kirby shampoo?

Yeah I guess it would be a bad idea. I will just have to buy the Kirby shampoo for now. I intend to get a steam cleaner as soon as we can afford it. Do you have to get a real expensive one for it to work well?

I had an encounter with a bison vacuum.

We went over to my boyfriend's great aunt's house yesterday evening to move a bed for her. My BF had told me she had a weird vacuum called a bison but I hadn't actually seen it. So yesterday he started talking about it and she showed it to me. I saw a bison on ebay once but it was green and...

What is the worst vacuum from the past 20-ish years?

Ok....so don't kill me Chad but that thing looks totally cool! I'm not saying it's any good, just that it looks way cool. I wouldn't mind having one just as a collection piece.

    Another kirby question.

I've noticed that some Kirby belts are textured and some are smooth. What's the difference and which type should I be using on my g4?

How do you clean a kirby?

Thanks you guys. I will post another picture of it once I get it polished.

How do you clean a kirby?

Mag polish? I've never heard of mag polish before. Is it European or something? Where could I find it or is it something I would have to order online? Your g4 looks awesome.
