mine would be the Epic 6000 as well...I like the metal wand/sheath and the power nozzle has a light...I own this model... I would also love to find the Ultralux, since that has a light on the power nozzle and it would be a metal body, I've never owned a metal body Electrolux...One of my aunts...

I have the manual...this was a family members vacuum cleaner and have fond memories of playing with the vacuum. The manual also shows model 116.2581, not sure what the difference was between the 2581 and 2591, I have other manuals as well and this is the case... Not sure how each model differs...

What's the story with the white upright with the blue Kenmore lettering down the bag? Price seems high for that period...that looks like a basic model for $139?

Not impressed I'll give it more time, but I'm not impressed with the Kirby...I cleaned it up, polished it...runs smooth, the self-propelled is very smooth, much smoother than the Hoover Concepts(1) and Windtunnels(2) I have in my collection..BUT it's way too bulky for me... I only have a few...

Hi, I'm in the market for my first Kirby...I'm still holding out for a Kirby Ultimate G Diamond, as that's the model I really want. I came across a Generation 3, what are your opinions of this model? I've never owned a Kirby before but would like to have at least one in my collection. Thanks.

I recently had the same issue with my Epic 6000 SR Canister...I just disconnected the tubing to the valve and it works fine now...I took the canister apart face down, was able to disconnect the tube quite easily and put the canister back together...took maybe 10 minutes. Good Luck

yuck...who would vacuum an ashtray...that must have really smelled bad for the length of the bag life in that vacuum...hahaha

Bagged vacuums all the way... dislike bagless...I own one bagless...Shark Powered Lift Away, first generation from 2014...only reason I purchased was it was able to convert to a canister vacuum... For me, it's a great machine but a pain to keep clean...so I don't use it much anymore.
