    Hamilton Beach No. 8

If I were to guess, something says 1933, or 1934... I only say that because the font on "Beach" is similer to that of the Chicago Wolrds Fair of those two years... Just a hunch though.

    Hamilton Beach No. 8

So, doing a little poking around on past posts, I've come to find that a Hamilton Beach No. 14 either dates to the early 40's, or late 40's. How about a Hamilton Beach No. 8? This seems earlier no doubt, but HOW early is the question? I Found it interesting that the nozzle on this seems wider...

    Rebuild almost anything!!!

Bags Yes, please let me know how the bags turn out, if she can duplicate cloth bags for these early cleaners, that would be GREAT! What type of material would be used? It's been my experience that the materials used on bags varies from cleaner to cleaner.

hooversrus On this cleaner, just a shine. This one runs great. Not gonna lie, a new bag for this one would be nice too. Most of the bags on these cleaners are a little faded and tired I'm afraid.

This is what I'd like to have polished. Sorry, I couldn't rotate it right side up. There are others like this that I'd be interested in having done as well.

Scissor Brace I see! Thank you Electrolux 137, I will admit, that desgin had puzzled me for a long time. I keep an eye out on eBay for one to pop up, as well as a bag. Incidentally, what would the original bag for the 750 look like? The one I have on it is black, and with orange letters says...

    Here goes...

No, it's the spring loaded brace that connects to the top of the bag. I never understood the concept behind it, but that's what I often see on these cleaners. The bag itself has three hoops, and the two hoops at the ends are connected to the brace. Maybe someone here can shed some light on the...

    Rebuild almost anything!!!

Interesting I just might have to take you up on this. I know I have a few cleaners that can diffinatly use polishing. Question: Is it only Kirby's that you will polish?

    Here goes...

Well here is the bulk of my collection. I plan to tinker with these, mainly polish them, as they all work just fine. I do need to locate a bag brace for the Hoover 750 second from the end.

One of those freebies, that often find there way into your home.

Neat! I like that these models THROW the bag out sometimes when it's full! LOL! It is also neat how it pivots to keep the hose horizontle when it is opened.

    Straight from my dungeon lol

Eureka Model "M" I LOVE the Eureka's Model "M" styling, it has such a wicked look to it. I also like how slow the brush-roller revolves. I have two of these models myself.

    Eureka Model "M"

WOW! Nice pictures guys! I have always liked the look of the Eureka "M". Seems very Kirby like, but fancier! I also have a G-2. I like the slow rotation of the roll brush these cleaners have.
