    Picking out a vac!

As I'm older, the only memories I have of going to the store to pick out a vacuum was for myself! The compact was here in 59 and I'm a 56 model so I don't really remember much before that.

Does anyone have those days they just want to get done and not fiddle with the vacuum?

I can understand that! My heritage too is not self-propelled and I can feel like I'm doing fine with it, it clamps down on the carpet and my back is done for the day. Maybe the next one too. Dug out an old favorite today and put on some music. Happy times! But yeah the back is screaming...

Does anyone have those days they just want to get done and not fiddle with the vacuum?

Don't feel bad, my V15 gets used twice a day,3 cats and their boxes plus much pecan floors. Works out the others once a week. Just too difficult here, back hurts.

    My Cobalt Blue Line

Nice, good luck. I had a similar idea working in a kitchen store, I went with all black as I wanted more neutral. Good toaster,we sold a few, those blenders had come backs, the coupler fails. Be careful, though they're probably is a replacement part now.

what is your favorite vacuum in your collection?

Well as usual, I tend to agree with Edgar a bit, my neighbor had a 1205, My first experience with a power nozzle so I looked for one of those for years when I could and ended up with a Silverado. But it's really a tie between that and my Kirby heritage two

    HEPA Bag Opinions, Please

Well said! My Silverado always OEM bags, but I could feel and hear airflow drop off after 4_5 uses, sounded congested. Years later the HEPA bags, never happens, also never pops open either! Side effect, odor due to the long life.
