    Kirby Odorific......

Terrible branding decision. 'Odorific' just sounds like a funny way of saying something stinks.

    Woah is me.....Kirby Sanitronic D80

You lost a whole vacuum? Wow.

    Vacuum Sweeper

"E-Z" ? idk I hate cursive. Especially when it's so fancified that you can't even make it out.

    Central Vacuums

Hang on. Why is the power nozzle marked 12 amp? Does the little brush roll motor really use 12 amps? O_o Or is that like the actual vacuum that's 12 amp? lol

    Old vacs

'Weirdly nice' Yeah, it looks clean, from a distance. Aluminum left out in the rain will become very clean and look new - not shiny, but fresh and clean. Junk yard-ers purposefully leave engines out in the rain and they always end up looking near new.

Eureka self propelled model 5071. Need parts

Spring cord? Do you mean the cable that's attached to the handle? It should be very much similar to an automotive aftermarket choke cable. You should be able to modify one of those.

Can someone find info on these vacs?

Ah yes, the incredibly rare Kirby lawn mower attachment.

    Help! Royal 4000 wiring diagram

Incidentally, converting from 12v to 120v bulbs is not straight-forward in terms of the light bulb socket. A double contact 12v bulb has the bayonet pins offset so it can only be installed one way, a 120v bayonet socket does not have offset pins. Besides, I think most 12v bayonet vacuum bulbs...

    Help! Royal 4000 wiring diagram

Assuming 120v light bulb and one speed motor. The bulb must have one white, and the other wire is the same that comes from the switch to the motor.

Can't you make one? Is it a special molded gasket or something?

    The Cadillac of all restorations!

Nice work. You beat me; I still haven't finished mine. Did you make a new bag? Cuz if you did, that means there are now TWO silk screens out in the world for Cadillac bags. I bet that's more than exist for most vintage vacs lol. Mine is model 122F, though generally the same. Interesting how the...

    2 New ones

Husky, the sad thing about the fake real leather is that it isn't technically fake, so they can legally call it 'real' leather. And it is, in a manner of speaking. It's made of ground-up leather scraps mixed with glue.

"Electrical Appliance Servicing, by William H. Crouse" - Vacuum Excerpt

Pic 7 is a Cadillac. I've never had a cylinder model. It's hilarious how they just used an upright's motor and housing assembly.

Fairly sure the original bellows are leather. Find an old leather couch curbside and skin it.

Hmm, interesting the stove behind it is also Western Electric.

    Hoover TurboPower Motor

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the carbon brushes are stuck, and possibly the bearings are bad. From what it sounds like, this machine has sat unused for a very long time, in less than ideal conditions. The motor simply needs to come out and be gone through.

    replacement wheels for Kirby 505

Delrin is very machineable, and my machinist has tons of it so that's what I used to make the wheels for my Cadillac. Unfortunately, I haven't finished them yet, they need to be flame-polished. Turns out Delrin does not like being polished by regular means.
