Bought a brand new Hoover today

I'm curious where you bought the Hoover from? I was at Target the other day and there was not a single Hoover vacuum there anymore.

    Retractable cords on upright vacuums

I love uprights with cord rewinders, at least with the ones I own and still looking to find. But just in general, wrapping the cords the old fashion way isn't my preference especially on canisters. I've seen uprights without cord rewinders that have even shorter cords like my Eureka The Boss...

Whirlpool Bathtubs Are A Dead Trend?

As long as insurance is covering it which they are for mine, I honestly can't complain. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to enjoy the humidity and feel the cold breeze outside all the time if I didn't had one. In fact my hot tub didn't always had a gazebo, it was later added on. I'm gonna see if I...

    National Laundry Day

According to the National Day Calendaer, today happens to be celebrating doing laundry. Interesting, it said it used to be on September 15th. Anyways, I'm just curious if anybody ever did laundry today and what machines you used? I just did a quick wash on some towels I've used to do a 6 month...

Whirlpool Bathtubs Are A Dead Trend?

Mine is in a gazebo with plastic windows so the cold air doesn't blow on you, I really like sitting out there during the winter because it traps alot of humidity inside and if it gets too humid or too hot, you can open up the windows. And it makes it even more relaxing whenever it rains and you...

(1997) Lindhaus RX Evolution 380 Electronic.

Either the cord was replaced or yours is a newer model because they all use yellow cords today. That being said, these are excellent uprights. Introduced in 1991, came in three different base sizes. In my humble opinion one of if not the best commercial uprights ever made, that's why they're...

Whirlpool Bathtubs Are A Dead Trend?

I just recently deep cleaned my hot tub again, still would take a jetted tub and clean it out with bleach over a hot tub. I do love using my hot tub, but between replacing this hot tub and the bathtub in my main bathroom, I'd rather upgrade my bath tub instead which I may end up doing once the...

    What exactly is the difference?

Wet/dry vacs are primarily designed to handle jobs that a Mighty Mite wouldn't handle. Like for example drywall dust, saw shavings, ashes, etc.

    I installed my "new" dishwasher!

Awesome! This appears to be a Whirlpool built machine based off of Hobart's design though I could be wrong. I love my KitchenAid I've had since 2010. Once it breaks, I'll do all I can to have it fixed as now I don't know if I'd buy another new KitchenAid today. I recently watched this video...

Let's see your favorite Electrolux cleaners

Here's mine This is my most favorite Electrolux branded model ever. I'm currently looking for the correct filter cover for it (supposed to be blue).

Whirlpool Bathtubs Are A Dead Trend?

I personally wouldn't use any kind of detergent if they cause excessive suds in the tub. Vinegar I've read is a good alternative to bleach.

Whirlpool Bathtubs Are A Dead Trend?

I've been using bleach for over 10 years now, never had any issues. It appears Oh Yuk isn't worth the extra because I've just read some reviews online that while that stuff works, bleach does do a better job.

    GE Dishwasher bit the dust

Nice dishwasher I've read on this sister site automaticwasher.org of how much users praise for Whirlpool dishwashers. Even I've used a newer KitchenAid version and really like it. If I had to replace my old KitchenAid, I think I'd get another one. But I also have my eyes on Bosch since that's...

    Door to Door Brands.

I can confirm that Filter Queen is still around shifting to online sales like Amazon but Tristar is now history just like Aerus later down the road as I don't think they'll survive for much longer. It appears Patriot is also still around as well and the current color is red but I also have...

Whirlpool Bathtubs Are A Dead Trend?

I like my jetted bath tubs. Used one of mine almost daily, in fact I just used it again yesterday. As for being a pain to clean and work with, I've found my experiences the complete opposite. Both of mine are still running fine to this day, even outlasted my hot tub which continues having it's...

    New Aerus models

As much as I hate seeing Aerus go, I'm definitely grateful we have copycats on the market today that'd continue the legacy like the ProTeam ProForce which I think are the best Lux vacuums ever made. Or what I really like are companies that makes machines based off of Lux like the SEBO K3 but...

    $50 Tristar on Marketplace

That was part of the reason I bought a CXL was from Eric. Good times. Anyways, that being said. I'd consider a Tristar if it was built by IEC like my CXL. The ones that were built by Aerus I could care less about, I owned a MG2 before and I wasn't too impressed.

    Rainbow vs Sebo/Miele

That's great to see Rexair also offered an extension hose for the E2 models. I've only seen this once on another thread from a D4C. In addition, Fred serviced his Rainbow in his dishwasher including the motor which I'm sure you remember Mark. If I was using a Rainbow or a Kirby as a daily...

Whirlpool Bathtubs Are A Dead Trend?

Depending on how much jets are in the tub and where they're at, I think they're useful. My house has a couple and our last cabin we've owned before had one as well. In addition, we also have a hot tub. Personally, I think hot tubs are more of a waste. Extra maintenance, need to put chemicals and...

Is a manual carpet sweeper worth it?

I had a Shark cordless sweeper before, it was nice while it lasted. I also had a Bissell GoVac which I didn't liked as much. I was nearly close to getting a Dirt Devil cordless sweeper back in like 2004 I believe but went with something else instead. I don't think I'll ever get another cordless...
