This user has since already bought both an OVO 700 AW and a DrainVac Turbo.

    MD Power Unit questions

My grandparent's VacuMaid would occasionally shut off on you while you're in the middle of vacuuming. But they have two fridge/freezers out in the garage next to the power unit so that actually makes sense.

    Aerus/LuxInternational discontinuation?

I heard a year or so ago that the Guardian Platinum had already been discontinued. Honestly, I think it's over for Aerus. At this point, I just can't see them surviving in the vacuum business for much longer so there's no point of coming out with a new model or even bringing back their older...

SEBO E3 vs SEBO E1 vs Miele c3 Parquet

As much as I like the SEBO D series, I see absolutely no reason to get one unless if it has an electric power nozzle. Because I can get a Numatic Henry for half the price off. But even with an electric power nozzle, why would I pay for a D4 where I can a E3 or even a K3 for alot cheaper...

    Central vacuum install "pipe dream"

I agree Reggie, I wouldn't live in a house without one either. I recently tried to look of having a central vac installed at my grandfather's cabin during the renovation but we were still unable to as there just wasn't enough room for one. Our first cabin never had a central vac and couldn't put...

    Rare Singer??

I love my Kenmore Twin Fan Heavy Duty. If back in the day I were to pass up on a Hoover Concept One, a Twin Fan would've been my runner up choice.

    Central vacuum recommendations?

My Beam had it's original motor replaced to a bigger one, there's a slight bit of increase from the performance but definitely for certain it has now outlasted the other motor. So yeah if you're able to get away with putting in a 8.4 motor in your NuTone, that's WAY cheaper than buying a brand...

    Central vacuum install "pipe dream"

I love the Aria, they are in my opinion the best canisters I've ever used by far. Such a shame Lindhaus pulled them out of the US market because they weren't all that popular. I agree about the Elite model, I prefer having a dial set at the highest speed than always having to push up the buttons...

    Happy Canada Day!

I love their central vacs. Not alot of people talk about them but apparently Canada has a huge market for central vacs. According to what one person from Canada told me, newly constructed homes are now required to have a central vac installed to meet the Canadian health code.

The CycloVac you're thinking of is a good option. They do offer an extended 25 year warranty.

SEBO E3 vs SEBO E1 vs Miele c3 Parquet

SEBO would be a better option.

    Central Vac DIY Questions

One safer way to clean the commutator without taking the armature apart or turning it on is to use a wet/dry vac with a 2 1/2" hose and seal the end of the hose where the fans are at and the motor would spin at a reverse direction. Then I'd use a cleaning stone and give the commutator a good...

    Another photographic mystery

I saw it inside the handle, I mean the white triangle area looks like a trigger to me.

In Honor of US Armed Forces Day

SEBO is now having a fourth of July sale on select red, white, and blue models. That's very cool of them to do so! I like these red ones the best if I had a choice. https://sebo.us/july-4th-sale

    Another photographic mystery

I could be wrong but it reminds me of a Bissell Proheat. Maybe it is because the handle appears to have a trigger indicating it's a carpet cleaner.

    Central Vac DIY Questions

I'd say fix it up and give it one more try. Strange to hear this is the second time it's happened that quickly because it should last longer than that. But in all of honesty, this wouldn't be a SilentMaster or a single motor MD unit of my choosing. I was told once that CycloVac had a warranty...

Trash Found Triple S Versamate (Sebo 350/1st Gen Windsor Versamatic)

The BS360 and the Versamatic both use the 1055 bags which as of today they're made out of paper. The 370 and the Versamatic Plus use the bags like all the other uprights (minus the new lightweight ones). Lindhaus labels their HealthCare Pro as a TOL model, at least according to Al who's a...

Trash Found Triple S Versamate (Sebo 350/1st Gen Windsor Versamatic)

I didn't say they're the same machines, you're correct they do have some differences. I say similar because they both do share some things that are alike with each other, even that Triple S really does remind me of a FELIX/DART. L shaped nozzle, brushroll indicator lights, manual height...

Trash Found Triple S Versamate (Sebo 350/1st Gen Windsor Versamatic)

They are one of my all time favorite designs ever. If I were to buy a new upright today, that or a Lindhaus similar to it would be my first choice. You know where they say if it aint broke, don't fix it. Well, I'd say there's always room for improvement. And they did just that over the years...

Unusual Green Dirt Devil Plus in Wisconsin

Very interesting, I would've liked these more than the hard case models.
