Anyone else think the pre "ball" Dysons had better Bin/Cyclone designs?

The Kenmore 22614 is still available to get. I'd buy that over the Titan anyday. But thankfully I don't need either one because I already have Rainbows that I personally like better. Not to mention I'm not a canister or even a bagless fan myself...

Anyone else think the pre "ball" Dysons had better Bin/Cyclone designs?

That one is basically similar but double the price. Makes no sense to me paying extra for it.

MD G23 240V Dual Motor Central Vacuum Cleaner System

Out of curiosity, is there a specific reason why you'd want to put a G23 or a SVT in your own dream home? Why not simply go with either a SilentMaster S900r2 or a Modern Day M956h2? They're easier to find from a local MD dealer, you'd get fresh brand new parts, and you'd get a warranty.

New Miele Guard Series Now Available in Canada!

The screen I think is so cool as a collector point of view, it really reminds me of the Champagne and the Aluminum. Definitely more useful than some of the Beam units which you can't see the screens while vacuuming.

I bought a "New" Maytag Set

I have a matching LG dryer and I can care less about it. Also has a issue with the flow sensor despite having a clean vent and not much lint in the trap. And sometimes it doesn't get everything else dry. I do like the wrinkle care and steam feature but I really don't use anything else on it. My...

    Hoover PowerMax Supreme, Goodwill find.

Nice Find! These were based off of the Concepts but added a hose and attachments on-board. This particular one was their top of the line model and one of if not the most rarest models since they didn't make very many of them.

I bought a "New" Maytag Set

There's a few commercial models they currently have available. The mechanical, electronic, and e-mech. The e-mechs are just like the coin box models. The mechanicals and electronics are homestyle like the residential models with bigger tubs, just with less features and warranty that doesn't...

I bought a "New" Maytag Set

I honestly wouldn't recommend the Maytag Commercial, those VMW style machines from Whirlpool have been problematic. They're not like the old DD machines they used to make. I think they also just recently got discontinued as well but I'm not sure. The SQ TC5/DC5 would be what I'd recommend unless...

I bought a "New" Maytag Set

I used to have a Maytag Neptune set, I liked them. They've both since been replaced by LG. My grandfather also had a Neptune stackable as well for 20 years with no issues until his cabin flooded and it accidentally got thrown out last year so the insurance paid for a new SQ SF7. He still has his...

    Genuine Hoover bags

Even some stores I've been noticing like Sam's Club is no longer carrying Hoover vacuums either, at least in person.

Very nice, enjoy your new set! They certainly don't make them like they used to.

    Measuring CFM?

Jumping back to the thread even though I said I wasn't gonna view it anymore. But I completely agree here. The only best vacuum in your home is what works best for you. As for me, I already found one. However, no vacuum is perfect for everybody. Each has their pros and cons so everyone has...

    Looking for Vacuum

Your CondoLux is technically a Bissell Garage Pro that they still sell today. This is the filter it should've had on it. And chances are there's a second filter inside I'd check as well because if so, I'd replace that too...

    Central vacuum recommendations?

That is true about the bag. I remember the paper closed bags on my neighbor's NuTone would lose power as it fills up. I rarely seen the performance drop on a MD top emptying unit. I also really like they have multiple filtration where they help protect the motor, I've seen before how a bag got...

    Aerus/LuxInternational discontinuation?

Alright this is where I heard the discontinuation of the Guardian Platinum from to back me up. Based on the Lux International site, it appears to be true they're no longer in production and whatever your Aerus dealer is selling now are new old stock models. I don't see a new model from Aerus but...

    Aerus/LuxInternational discontinuation?

I've never seen a motor go bad on the K, E, or D series but doesn't mean it wouldn't ever happen. I have before on a Aerus but I'm pretty sure the fault was from those genuine blue paper bags that are so cheaply made cause it was so dusty on the inside. My Diplomat LX I remember came with a blue...

    Central Vac DIY Questions

I think my first visit to the cabin with the unit installed was back in 2004 but maybe it was 2005, I can't remember now. I thought maybe it was a single motor unit cause I couldn't recognize if two motors were running at the same time. Who knows but I think I'm gonna reach out anyways. It was a...

    Aerus/LuxInternational discontinuation?

I'm well aware of the Gaurdian Platinum and how they're made courtesy to dysonman1. Apparently he was the one who made the Guardian Platinum model possible and I thank him for doing so because it's one of my favorite Lux models ever. No doubt the Classic and Legacy models are good machines...

    Central Vac DIY Questions

Personally, I'd rather replace the bag on top instead of the bottom. And I agree that it's better to put the motor on the bottom instead of on top. On my SilentMaster that I used to have, we put the bags on top of the unit which wasn't a problem because there's no cooling vents to block off...

    Central vacuum recommendations?

I really liked the CV450 that a neighbor of mine has I used to go over and vacuum for. One of the motors did in fact fail one time so I couldn't use it for a while and had to use their other vacuum which was a purple Vax X5. Nonetheless, if NuTone was still selling that model, I would've...
