Rebuilt Kirby 2C 1936 (FOR SALE)

They may have just put the wrong rebuild sticker on the bottom of it, or some kind of misprint or misread -- who really knows for sure? But I can tell you for a fact that the head and light cap belong to a Kirby 1C. And if by some reason you don't believe just ask our friend James, AKA The Kirby...

    A Three Volt Cartridge rebuild

I took a Crosley cartridge and carefully reduced its size to fit in a '48 Truetone radio/78 record player combo -- and believe it or not it sounds pretty good too for being a piece of cheapo Crosley. I guess a non-plastic tone arm and a good 'Ol tube amp makes just about all the difference in...

GE 5 Transistor Early '60s AM Radio Repair.

Whatever you do don't lose the infernal spring for the tuning capacitor disk ( if it's from the '50s or '60s ), because that spring gives you your tension in your tuning string. I can tell you with those sets about 90% of the time you will have to loop it three times around your tuning...

    Calem's Fantastically Incredible Coleslaw!

You simply want believe it's made out of the lowly brassica oleraceacapitata plant, but, indeed, it is...every scrumptious bite of it! Here's how I thunked up going about doing it...     Head of cabbage -- your choice of color   Two to Three carrots   One whole onion -- color don't...

GE 5 Transistor Early '60s AM Radio Repair.

TheSpiritOf76 That collection is five foot two and eyes of blue...very nice, very nice! Here's a photo of a mid 60s GE AM/FM solid state radio that I just finished. All I did was a general recap and, of course, its only pot( volume control ) was completely shot. It really is a good performer...

GE 5 Transistor Early '60s AM Radio Repair.

I was vexed by the same annoying feeling for quite sometime myself! Nobody could fix it, making it out to be some kind of rocket science, of course. You'd only send it off to get it back in worse condition then before you sent it to some inapt, ignoramus masquerading around as a repairman under...

GE 5 Transistor Early '60s AM Radio Repair.

I believe this GE radio is almost probably from the early '60s, on account, of its brown circuit board, not its latter green counterpart from '64.  After pulling all of its Nashville/Crapsville electrolytic capacitors, which were either dried out to a very low value or was double dipped, fried...

    Potato Chip Cookies

Yep! At long last it appears they just might've found the missing link! I guess now, I'm going to have to eat my hat!

    Potato Chip Cookies

...And don't forget the ever pleasing Georgia ice-cream with bacon & cheese all smothered in waffle sauce!  And no meal is complete without its cherry -- iced sweet milk and cornbread! ...And what's a " Kid Rock " anyway? I'm going to Google it and see.  [this post was last edited: 5/10/2016-11:58]

    Potato Chip Cookies

Please pardon my slang? But to borrow from a good Ol' Southern colloquialism -- They sure is make for some mighty fine eating!!! And if they are really, really pie pan lickin'  good, they make you want to flying dropkick the cook, too!

...or distracted driving, otherwise known as under the influence of technology! At least a drunk has one eye on the road, on account, if he had both eyes open he'd be seeing double. And don't get me started on dopers!

A "Thread" which only the SUPERSWEEP could possible love!!!

Did y'all even watch the videos?  I was talking about an open casket vs. a closed one. I wasn't talking about safe and responsible, but rather the quick and the dead!

A "Thread" which only the SUPERSWEEP could possible love!!!

I really like that, " Bubblemobiles!" If you have ever watched them " Signal 30 " videos from the 50s, you will see a stark difference between the motor vehicles of today and yesteryear. Back in the day a car crash looked like a car crash, but today they more resemble a plane crash with all of...
