I have a Life 1955-1956 library volume of Life magazines. The thing that really caught me was the ads on LEWYT "Big Wheel" canister vacuums.I would like to try to get one-NOT via EBAY,Facebook,or so on.Just wondering if a member here has one with attachments they could sell to me.The volume of...

I'm starting to understand why people are looking at alternative housing.

Those homes are just too claustrophobic for me----I want SPACE--as on Star Trek "Space is the Final Frontier!"Plus these places have NO space for storing your favorite things and hobbies.Love my new 2100 sq ft NEW house!!And it has plenty of space!!!

    Forgotten Dirt Devil/Royal Products

ANY vacuum can clog when used for foodservice cleanup.Better to use a carpet sweeper or a broom. Some of the clean air machines brought into the vac shop were a MESS--took longer to clean out than the direct ones. And there was a Sanitaire that a place had -it ate a mouse.Half was in the bag other...

Regina Housekeeper Upright Vacuum Model 6308-A - Gets Clogged Leaving Brush Housing

If that vacuum clogs like that wouldn't give you even 10 bucks for it.No wonder why these vacuums ended up in dumpsters. Also the elbow where the floor nozzle hose goes to the bag comparetment could be another clog point.

    Centralux exhaust inside or outside

A central vacuum bag lasts on average about half year.Small price to pay for not having to deal with gallons of dirt-dust and where to dump it.Take a bagged unit anytime over a bagless one. Also same with portable vacuums.

    Centralux exhaust inside or outside

Centralux units are replaced with bagged MD units here by the local MD dealer. The filtering on the Centralux is poor becuase of its bagless design.Surprized they would go with this since their portable canisters are bagged.Filtering is much better-no dust gets to the motor. And keep in mind that...

ALL of these regs past and present need to be REPEALED-Let the marketplace and CONSUMER decide on these issues. The gov't is STUPID when it comes to appliances-they are NOT qualified to make regs for them.
