Bissell ProHeat Series (Early to Mid-2000s)

It's always been Hit or miss with Bissell products, my experience. Of the three Pro Heat 2X's I inherited, one I assembled out of the box for a friend. I cleaned her carpet with great results, cleaned and dried the machine, done deal. 2 months later she moved to N.Y.C. and gave me the cleaner...

    I FINALLY HAVE ONE!

Yeah Victor! I know you've been wanting to get this turbo model for some time now. I finally got a new brush roll for mine, made all the difference, so much quieter. I like the fold down handle on these. Glad you got yours before they all disappear! Billy

Electrolux Special Edition. What did it cost?

MichaelT I like the colors of your model too! I believe yours is a real Elux. So I hope you enjoy it. I didn't mean to be so negative with my last response. The Costco model was so obviously a knock off even a newbie as I was could spot it ten ft. away. Nice looking power nozzle too...

Rare 1991 Eureka ESP limited edition model 1925

Looks like the J.C. Penny model had a half amp,(5.5), larger motor than others I've seen. New for '92? In any case that cleaner looks to be in very nice condition, a definite keeper. The wrap around headlight is a deluxe feature for sure.

Electrolux Special Edition. What did it cost?

I remember when Costco had just one model Electrolux canister for sale in the mid 80's and I heard that it wasn't really manufactured by Electrolux, but someone else. The price was 495.00. It was two tone blue as I recall. I wasn't collecting back then so I didn't really check out the...

Rare 1991 Eureka ESP limited edition model 1925

Found it also listed and shown in a 1990/91 Best Merchandise Catalog. Eureka Model 1925AT. All of the Eureka models here have either an AT or letter A after the numeral, not sure what that stands for. Anyway, says it has a 5amp motor, 6pc.attachments, no top tool conversion, slide adj.carpet...

Bissell ProHeat Series (Early to Mid-2000s)

Bissell Pro Heat I've got three and they are all sitting in the shed. All three given to me, and I only got to use them maybe twice before the pump quit working. I was told that this was intended to happen by Bissell all along. It's too bad and what a waste of materials and tech. When new...

    Time to organize ,etc...

John, If you had to put a number on it, here it comes, how many vacuums of any type do you have? Working or not working. Just a ball park number. I've held the line at 51 for two years and my bucket list is down to two. Although if I had a big house ... Billy

    Brandywine Eureka cordaway

Thank you Paul for posting that! I guess the previous owner was a little rough on power cords.

What ARE these type of vacuums called?

It looks heavy! I'll bet it would work well vacuuming under beds with good clearance and if the handle retracts all the way to the floor!

(1987) Dirt devil broom vac model 701.

Have the same Was in storage for 15yrs. I think the bearing is drying up from non use, as it makes a metallic chatter noise when I turn it off. Looks brand new. All told it probably has maybe 5 hours of use on it. Looks 10, condition 8.5-9. Hope you can salvage it, they're kind of fun to have...

    Here we go again

It's rediculous As if the newer models weren't stingy enough with water already.I do my laundry at my friends house when I house sit for him. He has a new set of Samsung washer/dryer. No dials or switches. I use the towels setting as that cycle puts the most water in for the wash and set the...

    I now own a Kirby

Barry Barry Barry I was amazed when I saw the side by side pic of your Kirby. You have every right to feel good about what you have accomplished. Really! You can also put a coat of car wax or polish as a top coat to slow down the oxidation that occurs with time. My friend who collects exotic...

Other Kirby items I have collected.

Nice collections, Wasn't aware there were so many nice goodies! I like the charm bracelet too! Just think, if they put out a charm bracelet with a charm for each model, the 500 series alone would fill that bracelet! The ash trays would have been pressed into service in the homes of my parents...

    Vintage Blender Collection

I have, six Oster blenders. Two John Oster and four Sunbeam Osters. I like the 400watt models just fine. The newer 500-600watt motors scream and vibrate too much. They also don't fold the ingredients as well as the slower 400watt machines do. Just my experience, I imagine the newer models...

    Eureka 4672ATV "translucent" Enviro Vac

I did, I had a similar model to yours, maybe a model year before yours. Someone had placed it out on the sidewalk for curbside pickup. It was a clear teal color and with the sun shining down on it, it was a real looker! Snapped it up and when I powered it up it roared from a case of very worn...

    Brandywine Eureka cordaway

eurekaprince, "On closer inspection" as they say, it looks factory but on the plug there is a diamond shape with PWC printed across the top. Wow 20 and 40 ft.cords were available? I need to go shopping because... thank you for that info! The fact that even this cord has been taped about mid-way...

    Brandywine Eureka cordaway

That's interesting because I have a 2087 A Brandywine ESP that only has a 12 ft. cord, not cordaway. I always thought that ESP's were upper tier. Doesn't appear to have had the cord cut. Hmm.
