I don't have much hard floor - its carpet in every room bar the kitchen and bathroom, where its lino. I have yet to test it on hard floor, but as it has variable power and brushroll shut off, it shouldn't suck the lino up to the nozzle like the X series does. I will post later with my results...

How cute - the meeces must have thought the yellow colour of the machine was a big piece of cheese! Needless to say, it didn't smell very fresh. I used to keep mice, rats, guinea pigs and gerbils and know how bad rodent pee smells!

What would be the problem with letting people on VL know about the function of this pedal? Why only those who are approved to belong to this select, closed, Facebook group?  

Don't forget, HiLo, - some of Argos's staff are unpaid and have to be there as a part of receiving their benefits by the jobcentre (Workfare), or they are young people on unpaid "work experience" so its little wonder they don't really want to give their best to Argos and its customers. [this...
