    "What am I? Chopped liver?"

. Well, I am sorry I missed this, but if it's not too late I am interested in some of the newer stuff --AND CAN PICK IT UP-- being I'm not too far away. I will fill the trunk of my large-trunked-car if it helps, and if you still need to unload more vacuums.

SELLING OLD VACUUM CLEANERS ON EBAY - A REALITY CHECK

. I agree, the cost of shipping is too damn high! And killed off my interest to do so. I think metal vacs are fading as along with those that remember them from their younger years. Victrolas? Meh, vintage high-end gear brings the bucks. So, all in: yeah, like you said Charles.

Tips for replacing bearings in 1400 series Eureka upright vacuum

. These vacs have rumbly motors. Post a video if you can. No blockages i guess... Probably just get a new motor if that is the problem. There is a newer style motor that probably will swap in, but hopefully someone who has done it will chime in. Sometimes Hepa bags can hinder air flow from...

    RAINBOW SCORE

. Drop the mic! Your vacuum needs are covered, wall to wall, for the next few DECADES. Everybody gravitates to different machines...these have a learning curve and don't really work as "quick picker uppers", but their flexibility, quality, and effectiveness will likely keep you satisfied for a...

. Here's an especially treasured pair I am keeping in the bedroom lately. I am selling vacuums!

. I like almost all bagged upright Panasonics and the higher range Kenmore stuff by Panasonic as well, upright or canister...the BOLs Vac's no. The Hoover Dial, Panasonic Jet Flo's, all Tacony, made by Panasonic or not, and other clones...are pretty much my favorite upright design and something...

    I am selling vacuums!

. My oldest is an early Hoover Dial. Generally I'm not interested in vacs much older than me, but if given the chance I might make an exception. I actually have two complete Celebrities including a blue one I just picked up, but the mint green one with mint green hose is really an eye popper...

    New Carpeting Recomendations Needed

. We have moved in with my mother as she is now 88 and in need of daily assistance. She lives in a modern though 40+ year old custom built home here in sunny Southern California, designed by my father...a floor covering salesman by trade! Any who, the original carpet was a shag of varying hues...

Krylon Fusion project - some pics

. Cool, good to see work like this here on VL. The more mods, upgrades, and/or customized vacuums the better I say. Mix up the colors and bojack the hell out of it as if it suits you. My handle comes the the desire to have the standard Sanitiare model with every part being from a different...

    Dyson DC-17 Rehab

. Just hot water and a soft cloth will be enough i think. I found i could disassemble my star tool which allow me to use it with a needle-nose pliers to get at the hard to get at 8 screws...and i loosened them most of the way for better cleaning. Removing them completely would cost a lot of time...
