I bought mine soon after they came out. The bag change light was made to come on, but not shut the machine off. If I remember correctly, they have corrected this so it will also shut off when the bag is full.......   PR-21 Bud

On your General Electric Upright. To twist off, twist left and pull out. You will see a nub where  you twisted it off. To attach align the cutout in the bag adapter with the nub and twist right.     PR-21 Bud

I have a question about the Apex and also the hoovers, like the 28 which had screws to tighten the bag on. Did they just have to tighten finger tight or do you have to use a wrench to tighten them?   Sincerely,   PR-21 Bud
