I don't know if they still make them, but Oreck made scent tablets made exclusively for the XL21. I had tons of vanilla scented ones a while ago. I just stuck them in vacuum bags that smelled, or put them in with the exhaust filter and it completely got rid of the odor until the bag needed...

Tom, I was able to build one good one from various parts! I need to order a new handle because there is a small crack in the current one, making it pretty loose. I also need the HEPA filter and cover, as well as the attachments. Is there any chance I could order those from you?

I'd recommend a bagged Kenmore Intuition upright. They're easy to use and great deep cleaners. You can usually find them on sale for around $199. Hope that helps. Chase
