It looks cheaper to me... maybe it will grow on me. Looks like they moved the power switch back to where it was on the original. I can't imagine what the clear parts at the bottom will look like after a few uses.

The Dirt. I hadn't vacuumed in a few days except with the Shark Cordless Navigator... I used the Hoover S/P WindTunnel about a week ago and the Platinum Lightweight bagged the day after that, so this was what it got up.

So, I got a Rainbow E-series today after wanting one for years. I was told that the 2 speeds with the brushless motors were better, and I thought that's what this was, but it was not... I wasn't about to change my mind after driving an hour just because it wasn't a two speed. It's the...

I found an E series for 200, but it's only the hose, power nozzle, and canister which means I'd have to buy all the attachments and the aquamate separately... what do you guys think? Is it worth that? It's an hour away if I do decide to do it....

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one it happens to... I just wish people would take their ads down when something isn't for sale anymore and respond when you write to inquire about something... it really isn't that difficult! I could get the newer style power nozzle and trigger...

Best is Hoover CONCEPT 1 Worst is Hoover Empower, though any of the machines that use the dreadful tower filter are in the running, the Empower excels at lacking durability, style, quality, user friendliness, and ability to maintain power! At least the Z, the inefficient monster that it is...

I just missed out on the deal of a lifetime and I'm pretty sad about it... I found a 2 speed Rainbow E series on C/L for 50 bucks... it came with electric and non-electric hoses, the shampooer, the power nozzle, all the attachments, and 2 bottles of shampoo... and it was 50 bucks! Of course...

No matter what anyone thinks, it's always exciting to get a new machine, so congratulations!  Does this have the automatic height adjust or the manual one?    

Fred, while those are lovely pictures, the Summer in FL sucks.  Hot, humid, sticky, musty, mosquitoes...  by noon, if you go to get in your car, you'll get a 3rd degree burn just touching the steering wheel or the metal button on the gearshift or the seat belt or the arm rest... it's nasty!  ...

I just wanted to address madabouthoovers comment on the popularity of Bissell in the US...  I think they are quite popular because of their low price.  I think they are mostly the machines for people who can't afford anything else or don't care enough to spend decent money on a vacuum... or...

I read somewhere that Hoover waited until the Sebo patents expired (actually, I think I saw that in the Govacuums.com youtube video of the Insight)...  I prefer the black version...  this one just looks cheaper (maybe it's just the color) but it seems to have just a touch of the T series flavor...

Well the same machine is 47 dollars new at Wal-mart.... 80 for one without a return policy is a bit much.
