    Singer Lazer Storm

Does anyone else remember these? I remember seeing the ad on TV YEARS ago and them doing a bunch of absurd students, like a ping pong ball in a clear PVC tube vs a Kirby G3. Pulling a Fridge with something that resembled dryer hose, and lifting a large fridge/freezer with a suction cup. I was...

    H20 Pro Vacuum

Hmm...I'm not seeing a canister machine called an H20 pro, this doesn't mean it doesn't exist of course it may just be obscure. I do recall the H20 vac and the H20 vac turbo. They were both water filtration canisters which were a baffle type system. I had one of the turbos back in my late teen...

    Buying powernozzle in Europe

Hmm...I've had a youtube commenter who's name escapes me at the moment say that where he was from Lindhaus was sold almost exclusively by janitorial supply companies. Perhaps see if you can find a local-ish dealer for them or reach out to Lindhaus Directly to see if they can point in you the...

    Buying powernozzle in Europe

It perplexes me that major power nozzle makers like Wessel Werk, Sebo and Lindhaus are all European companies and yet they're seemingly difficult to find in Europe. One thing though. I may be incorrect here but the QDC lindhaus nozzles i've seen use a wand that have a hole vs a pin in it. Is...

    Compact model C2

Oh you're correct it was just a model 1. You bought one off me not too long ago now. I did find it too tight with that bag and a disposable and had to bend the latch batch into place afterwards.

    Compact model C2

Had a similar issue with the C1 I had. There just isn't enough clearance on the lid for both the cloth and disposable bag, force them into place and you risk bending the latch.

    Kirby Hose Conundrum

There's definitely something off about that hose but i can't tell exactly where the problems begin. That attachment end and the cuff it attaches to are definitely not OEM, it bears a strong resemblance to an oreck buster B hose. Now the part i'm confused about is the hose itself. It's lacking...

    2 Vitamixes in one day

Can't beat that price lol. Hmm yeah doesn't looks like they do that's unfortunate, but even if you replace the blade assembly you're still ahead.

    Measuring CFM?

It stands up logically. I spoke to our HVAC guy who, while he told me the calculation of CFM is something he's not super comfortable with, to think of it like a funnel and hose filled with water. The hose is going to be the point with the most resistance but when they're working in a system the...

    2 Vitamixes in one day

This is crazy! A while back I found a Vitamix 5200 at a thrift store for 12.99 I'd been wanting a premium blender and quickly snatched that up. Today while I was running my thrift route I came across this Vitamix 5200 branded with the Culinary Institute of America label on it. for 29.99 I...

    Measuring CFM?

Being so long ago and having no documentation of the condition of the machine it's hard to say why it pulled those numbers. It should have pulled closer to a 7/7.5 really. I'd imagine the post motor hepa filter is probably partially responsible, or maybe the cloth bag was dirtier than thought.

    Riccar R27

Avoiding tariffs does seem to be a very likely aspect to it. I am curious though being out of the industry what specific issues were they having with them? I don't think we'll see a shift back to US manufacturing with them. Sad too, they were once a pretty reputable brand but they've definitely...

    A few things on Ebay.

Re-homing a few vacuums and a fan: Kirby Metal Fan, pulled from a D80 i tried to use for parts https://www.ebay.com/itm/146648750393 Royal 884: Picked up locally, tested it's power and now it could use a new home. I've already have 2 other royals. https://www.ebay.com/itm/146649641823 Riccar...

Oh it's a hoover! I can't give you an exact model number but it's part of the preferred line Image courtesy of Eureka1988 in this thread https://vacuumland.org/threads/forgotten-hoover-products.43720/page-3

    what is this ?

I saw that too and was like....what am I looking at? I thought at first it was some sort of small model but then scrolling through the images they appeared to be like a real tool set so it's like....okay so it's like an AI generated image then? I don't understand the purpose of that. If one were...

    Measuring CFM?

This is like watching the two smart kids with different answers arguing.... I'm going to play Devil's advocate here and ask this question. When we place machines like Kirbys or Royals onto our airflow boxes and the opening from said airflow box is 2" does this then mean our measurements are...

    Measuring CFM?

Okay before I add to this just know I don't consider my measurements to be the be all end all I think of them as a Ballpark as we're going to have environmental factors that effect our measurements, from electrical variants to environmental factors like elevation and I'd imagine things like...
