    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

Holy! For $10 I would have snapped that right up! my first one cost me like 500 with shipping. They use the style P bags though

    The Riccar Vibrance has returned

Doubtful I'm sure you probably are aware but the symmetries had issues with their hoods developing cracks over time due to all of the weight being on the base. I think the vibrance design is probably sturdier. I just saw these today thanks to an ad strange that they didn't include a lifetime...

    Nintendo Chiritori

Ah yes I've read about those. They've been referenced in a few odd places like one of the wario ware games. For those unfamiliar they would spin in a circle until you pushed a single button which would cause it to move straight line.

Why did early Kenmore hoses have the holes at the end?

Safety thing? Wasn't it some sort of Safety precaution to prevent kids from harming themselves with vacuum suction? I think i've read that somewhere

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

Motor Surprise The Platinum is quite powerful I was quite shocked to open mine up to find a 4.5" motor in it. You'd never guess! It seems like they're not quite a durable as the Aerus units but it's power is beyond them and it's much quieter too. If they could combine those elements they'd...

(2015) Evolution Prestige Dustcare model 6502Z.

Hmm... I keep seeing listings for what appears to be a dual fan motor for the 6500 I wonder if they changed the motor in the at some point? Or perhaps it's a case of the dual fitting them so they advertise it for the 6500. As for the other piece I have seen one of them in the wild on a 6500...

(2015) Evolution Prestige Dustcare model 6502Z.

Cool. You don't see too many of the Evolution ones pop up anymore. The 6500, if memory serves used a 2 stage motor and had a little mechanism to shut the brush off when the machine by diverting the belt to an idler pulley. Overall they were a nice solid simple machine.

    Dual Fan Airway

Has (vacuum) science gone too far? That's quite the setup. Motors put in series will boost suction but airflow isn't affected too much. It's certainly quite unique though!

Holy! You're using one of those carpetwins? Those things are absurdly heavy it'd probably be quicker and easier just to use a lighter machine LOL. Yeah I can't say for sure what caused the damaged piece but I think if it had been broken in use it would have fallen out. it was just held in it's...

just to clarify I was talking about the carpetreiver As for the dayton ones those appear to be a dual motor (1 suction 1 brushroll) and i've seen a similar design come through the shop which I think was green. It used a round belt and wasn't very impressive IMO. They also brought in an Oreck...

    Bissell wide area vac

oh those! We've got one of those at work they're actually a triple motor, 2 suction motors and a brushroll motor. The main switch turns the suction motors and the brushroll switch, which the brushroll only runs when you hold down. makes it convenient for hard floor spaces too. They seem to work...

Ah interesting I thought it was just some cosmetic changes to differentiate it but that's interesting to know that someone else had actually built another machine like it. What has changed about the Sensor line to show the quality difference?

One vacuum many names Yeah I knew it was made by someone else I THINK mastercraft is the one making them but I'm not entirely sure. They've been sold under various names and brands, As you've mentioned Oreck (comvac) Kirby (Comvac various widths) Powr Flite there's also a similarly designed...

Dual motors? Curious would you happen to know what brand it is? I've not seen many of these but.the few I've seen are single motor.

    Bissell wide area vac

Sure I'll try to use it a bit more over the next few days run some visible debris tests and get back to you. So far, it's a little on the loud side but not overly loud. It's got a height adjustment system that reminds me of like a royal. one pedal to raise the nozzle another to lower it...

Hmm... Ridiculous as it may sound I think i'll wait it out it's not like i'm hurting for a new cordless machine. Certainly looks promising though!

Oooh they have finally landed! You'll have to let us know what you think of it when you've had more chance to use it. I like the idea of it but I'm not thrilled with them being made by king clean. Certainly looks nice though and I'd think with the repution of numatic behind them they'd be a cut...
