    I used to hate these!

Very Nice Find!!! I have two Hoover Windtunnels both are self propelled. One is from 2004 or so and the other one I bought new from Sears a year ago. They are both great, but I like the older model better and I'm always keeping my eyes open for another older one in better shape then mine. The...

Pretty good sweeper I had the Shark model of this sweeper and loved it, but the battery doesn't last long. Be prepared to purchase a new battery for the unit in about a year....

I have always loved Elites! I've only got three at the moment, but if I see them at thrift stores they are definitely coming home with me. I couldn't leave one behind if I wanted to!

Why Kirby plastic fans are superior...

This is cool info! This makes me want to buy a new cord for my Kirby Generation 5 and use it every now and then. The machine itself is in great shape inside and out, but about six months ago when I was cleaning the house the vacuum just shut down and wouldn't turn back on again. After closer...

    Matte Black Sanitaire SC-899

Nice! Funny how you can still see HEAVY DUTY printed on the bag. I think it would look even more awesome if you painted the trim pieces green! Like the bumper, handle grip, bag clip, etc. Definitely a One Of A Kind Sanitaire!

    Ugh!

Update! Sorry I haven't had a chance to upload the pictures yet, but changing the bag to genuine Kenmore type-C bags seems to have solved my problem completely. The Kenmore C bags seem to fit a lot more snug allowing the bag to seal properly. I still absolutely love the cleaner! I have a very...

    Needing a new shopvac....

I need a new Shopvac as mine died last month. Does anyone recommend a certain brand/model? I want one that has the option to use a bag so I'm not having to constantly clean that awful round filter inside. I will only be using this new Shopvac to clean out our cars, not for any sort of...

    clearing up leaves

Garage Cleaning...... For a while I used a dying Oreck to vacuum my garage. It actually did a pretty good job and I'm sure it sucked up all kinds of awful things before its demise. Apparently cleaning out a garage is the only thing an Oreck is good for!

    Panasonic MC-CG902

Thanks! I love HEPA bags! I use them in my Windtunnel and will also use them in the new Panasonic. I don't really have the need for a powermate Jr since we have leather furniture and no carpet, but it is nice to know one will fit if I ever do need it.

RE: Panasonic Thanks for all the info! I've pretty much decided on the Panasonic as I have a very nice bare floor brush already that I know will fit. I will also order the horse hair dusting brush since I do a TON of dusting! I'm going to put a little bit aside each paycheck to purchase the...

Looking to buy a new vacuum.

Great! I've been trying to clean with only uprights the past four years and it isn't working...We live in a home with hand scraped hardwood floors, tile and three thick area rugs so I REALLY need a decent canister! There's also LOTS of above floor cleaning to be done since we have large...
