    New Dyson DC40 Origin.

I've wanted a Dyson Ball vacuum for a long time now and yesterday I FINALLY bought one. I chose the DC40 Origin because of the smaller size and that it's a bit easier to maneuver then the DC41 and DC65. The price was also cheaper. 399 at Bed Bath And Beyond. Anyway I've used it once so far to...

    Dyson DC40?

Do any of you have experience using a Dyson DC40? They have factory reconditioned units at Big Lots for 249.99 and I'm thinking about getting one. My house is all hardwood and I'm tired of using a canister for such a big area....If the DC40 is good at cleaning hardwood without scratching I'm...

    My Collection!

@ryan1994jeep I don't really care for the whirlwind because the suction is terrible. However it does have a brand new belt and brush roll as well as filters.

    My Collection!

@durango159 To answer your question YES! The red "convertible" and teal "Tempo" both have the single row of brushes. About the Hoover Agility SteamVac...I'm not a huge fan of it. The head of the machine is very light so I feel it doesn't extract enough water from the carpet and leaves it to...

    Riccar 8850 Find!

I visited my favorite thrift store yesterday and picked up this Riccar 8850 for $16.00! Its in pretty good condition for it's age and seems to sound fine, but it is going to need a new belt and bag. It's also missing all of the attachments except for the dusting brush....Next weekend I'll head...

    Dating a Hoover Convertible...

Thank you! Just love old Hoovers. Nothing like the sound of strong airflow and good agitation!

    Dating a Hoover Convertible...

One more. Here it is running. Purrs like a kitten and cleans my shag area rug beautifully! Sorry about the awful glare from the headlight. I have a Lifeproof case on my I-Phone and I think that's what caused it.

    Hoover Convertible.

That's a beautiful Convertible! I love vintage machines! I also picked up a Singer Twin Turbo about two weeks ago that I've been working on. It works fantastic I just need to install a new headlight. I'll be posting pictures of them both when they are ready!

    Hoover Convertible.

Thank you for the response. When the machine is all cleaned and serviced I'll post pictures. I'll have to wait until next weekend to take it in since I will be working everyday this week. I will keep everyone updated on the process!

    Hoover Convertible.

I picked up a Hoover Convertible on Saturday and have been in the process of cleaning it up a bit. I'd like to get the motor rebuilt, but really don't have the time or tools I would need to do it myself. My question is do y'all think my local vacuum shop would rebuild the motor if I took it in...
