    Dyson still sucking!

Well it's actually been cold in south Texas! Imagine that?! Anyway I haven't been wanting to go out into the cold just to empty the vacuum so this is about two weeks worth of filth from my floors.....Even though it's clearly past the "full" line the Dyson continues to suck! In a good way. ;) I'm...

    Shop Vacs

Shop-vac.... I have a gigantic 80's Sears Craftman shop vac that belonged to my father. That thing is a trooper, been to hell and back over the years yet continues to work fantastic. I've come to the conclusion that it will never die! Haha!

    Deodorizing Vacuums

Smelly vacuums..... When starting a new bag I just dump a little bit of baking soda into the new bag and then install it. If it starts to stink later on before its time to change the bag I just sprinkle a small amount on an area of carpet and vacuum it up. Be carful when using baking soda...

I have a rather interesting question for you guys! I have a Dyson DC40 and was wondering if the nozzle from another Dyson model would fit on it? Such as the nozzle from the DC41 or DC65?

    Vintage Hoover

bvac6 Thank you for the info! I figured the bag and cord were replaced at some point in its lifetime. There was no way I was paying 30 dollars for that thing it was too far gone. I do feel sorry for it though....

    Vintage Hoover

Can someone tell me when this old Hoover upright was made? Found it at an antique shop today, the bottom of the machine says model 300. I didn't buy it cause they wanted 30 bucks and it's in rough shape....brush roll was seized etc.

    Windtunnel brush roll question.

Thanks for the help guys. He is a video of it after servicing the brush roll, also changing the belts and bag. Works like new again and no more crazy noises from the brush roll! The motor however makes a strange sound on shutdown, but it's done that the whole time I've owned it and hasn't...

    Windtunnel brush roll question.

Quick question you guys, what is the best way to clean and oil the brush roll bearing for this self propelled Windtunnel? It spins freely, but feels kind of crunchy like there's dirt in them. Thanks in advance!

    Finally.....

Metaphor. I have the Panasonic MC-CG902! Bought it brand new about a year ago and absolutely love it! I'm just considering something more high end and more maneuverable with a longer hose. The Canister unit itself is very large and hard to pull around. The next canister I buy must have swivel...

    Finally.....

Got my Dyson back from the repair shop. It took Dyson two weeks to ship a new cleaner head..... I will probably have to keep getting it replaced until the warranty expires since it has a design flaw with the small wheel assembly underneath the power head. Tom, when is the Simplicity wonder...

kirbylux77 & Desert Tortoise I'm just looking for a solution here, I paid 399 dollars for this vacuum cleaner and if I cant use it on my hardwood floors it was a total waste of money....If I were to remove the wheel the base plate would just scrape along the floor and do even more damage. I...
