    Question for the Kirby experts.

What should I use to re-seal the fan chamber on my generation 5? Would automotive RTV sealant work?

    My Extensive Collection Part 7

Dan, I actually liked the Sirena when Tom allowed me to use at at the museum. The power head was good and the water filtration system seems very well thought out.

    My Extensive Collection Part 7

Dan, What was Kenmore thinking with that ugly looking thing?! Yikes! That aside, I'm still LOVING this thread. It has however made me very jealous! ;) Do you have any NIB Fantoms?

    First Driver of 2015

Tom, That is a beautiful rainbow! I love the way the older rainbow models sound, such a nice tone.

    Anyone.....

Thanks Tom! That's exactly the info I was looking for! If I do decide to take the plunge I'll probably choose the Moonlight because I have a larger home that's completely covered in hardwood floors. The lager dust bag would definitely be a plus, and I'm a sucker for a real horse hair dusting brush.

    Daily driver?

Its always changing, but..... Lately its been my Dyson dc40 for the bare floors and Fantom Fury for the living room rug.

    Anyone.....

Have a Riccar Sunburst or Moonlight canister? I'm interested in getting one in the near future, absolutely love the new floor tool! Here are my questions....How long is the cored and hose? Also does it maneuver well? Nothing a hate more than a canister with a stiff awkward hose to fight with.

    Catastrophic motor failure!

Martin187 The green Hoover Tempo, not sure why they called it that though.....Its still an Elite! Hoover did some strange renaming in the 90's.

    Cheap Dyson?!

    Yeah... I have to agree....

    Cheap Dyson?!

I about died when I saw a Dyson for under 200 dollars at Walmart today..... Craziness! This is about what it should cost!

    Dyson still sucking!

parwaz786 Yep that's me! Haven't made a video in quite a while, my stupid I-Phone won't upload videos I take! Guess I'll need to import the videos to my computer and upload them to YouTube from it instead.

    Dyson still sucking!

director12 Yes I did! Used it heavily for 7 years until it got completely worn out.

    Catastrophic motor failure!

One of my Elite's decided to die earlier today. Was vacuuming a rug by the back door and the motor started to slow down, grind, smoke, ETC before completely dying out....Here's what I found after inspecting the motor. Burned armature, unevenly worn carbon brushed, and broken field coil. It's not...

Riccar 'Immaculate' or Miele s8 'Uniq'

I agree with Tom. The Riccar immaculate is nothing like a Miele canister....I've seen them both in person, quality and performance is night and day difference. Even the power heads can't compare to one another, the Riccar has a steel brushroll with REPLACEMENT brush trips and the agitation is...

    Dyson still sucking!

I actually own a DC07 also, and it's like brand new for its age. I end up using them both a lot because the DC07 works better on carpet and the DC40 works better on floor. I like both of my Dyson's for their convenience, but I'd rather have a Rainbow or some sort of high end canister like a...
