eurekastar Here is what I just ordered. Went ahead and just got a new one! And yes I used clear silicone on both my Kirbys fan cases. Thanks for the heads up though! :)

So during the restoration project I removed the lever that hold the nozzle in place, not knowing it wasn't supposed to be removed, so now it is stripped. 😔 Can someone help me out? I put HOURS into this Kirby and now the nozzle won't stay on! Is there a fix for this or am I screwed? "Literally"

Update: It is finished!!! Many hours of hard labor, but the results are worth it! Now I have another beautiful Kirby!

Update: LOTS of progress was made last night and today! Everything is cleaned, polished, and back together except the bag....It's getting washed as we speak. Like I said before, it's not perfect but WAY better!!!

First update: Finished the rug nozzle. It isn't perfect, but it's the best I can do!

Well.... It's an Ultimate G in the worst shape I've ever seen.....This is going to be a LONG restoration! I'll be posting pictures along the way!

A friend of mine contacted me saying she cleaned out her storage unti and has a Kirby for me. I'm picking it up tomorrow morning! I have no idea what model or what shape it's in, but will post pictures when I get it home.
