AB Electrolux, Lux & Related Company D/AP/S Series Info. 1978-2025

Never knew that. Just took for granted that the blue skins were a European feature prior to the LGP.

AB Electrolux, Lux & Related Company D/AP/S Series Info. 1978-2025

I took for granted that the D920 is the straight suction version of the D950. I believe the photo is from a Hungarian website (.hu); although it may have been marketed in other countries. Limited info. The only photo available was for parts listing the D920/D950 together.

    Volta U157A 1976

Came across a YT video featuring the "Electrolux Volta" Z306, with the U157A appearing on the feed. Subsequent clicks led me to discover some others in the same design: Volta U157, Electrolux Z310, and Electrolux Z311. There was also a Volta model U156 I saw in a parts list that may have...

    Hoover Lark 14

Hi Peter, Welcome and congrats on obtaining a hard-to-find Hoover Lark. The link is to an archived thread which will answer your question and more. https://vacuumland.org/threads/how-rare-is-a-hoover-lark-model-14.3932/ Other USA Hoovers manufactured around the time were: Standard Angle...

    Eureka Princess Canister TV Commercial

The 1230 Series is powerheads. You're probably thinking of the 1253 Power Team, which may have also been orange. Thanks. :)

AB Electrolux, Lux & Related Company D/AP/S Series Info. 1978-2025

Thank you for your feedback. That may be an error on my part, or I possibly saw one from another country that was slightly different. The table, with the exception of the Lux France information and NZ information posted by Elliott, is based on my observations and comments I read online at this...

Sanitaire S490A -- Original Power Nozzle?

Btw, I called several stores, including out of state, to locate the item I wanted. Where there's a will there's a way.

Maybe the owner of this S490A will take some photos of the wiring for you:

AB Electrolux, Lux & Related Company D/AP/S Series Info. 1978-2025

This thread is a continuation of a discussion on thread 44672: https://vacuumland.org/threads/1980s-viking-241-electronic-canister-vacuum.44672/ The discussion piqued my curiosity about the AB Electrolux & Lux brand (and related companies) D/AP/S Series, so I searched for online information...

(1980s) Viking 241 Electronic canister vacuum.

This is a good discussion but has hijacked the thread—unfair to the originator and complicating future searches. Please continue on the new thread on the Electrolux D/AP/S Series I will be creating shortly. I appreciate you, your knowledge and experience.

    Eureka Princess Canister TV Commercial

Fyi, I think the Model 1255 is the same color as the contemporaneous Model 1254 Roto-Matic Power Team (presumably Big Bad Orange) which was rated at a different PHP. There are also a couple contemporaneous canisters (sans Roto-Matics) in the same or similar color: JCP Model 1450, Prince II...

    Eureka Princess Canister TV Commercial

If it were part of the former museum it may be toast now, because he just posted on another thread that he tossed the ones that weren't picked up by collectors. Btw, I'm not positive that it is/was a 737; only that it looks like it. It probably is, but then again there are a few 700s for which I...

    Sanitaire Blue Line Series Introduction?

    P. S. This doesn't necessarily mean that all the 8288's had the same style of nameplate.

    Sanitaire Blue Line Series Introduction?

Ben, On second thought, I may have misunderstood your meaning of "new style" thinking you were referring to the computerized one. However, I think the attached style was on your mind. Btw, I located ads for the Express 8288-A in 1987 and 1988, and there were no other types listed in online...

    Sanitaire Blue Line Series Introduction?

Ben, I'm a bit confused as to how you arrived at 1988 as the start of the new label style. Have you actually seen a computerized label with 1988 numeration? Not being disrespectful in any way - just wondering. As for the S485-A with the Express-style power nozzle. I would hesitate to take for...
