    Electrolux UK - US - CA Cylinder/Tank Vacs Exhibition - 1949-2025

Just noticed that I inadvertently ID'd the 1521 Ultralux Classic as the 'Ultra Classic' in the table (or Spell Check took over).

    Electrolux UK - US - CA Cylinder/Tank Vacs Exhibition - 1949-2025

Thanks for the correction; I went by what the original poster had stated; unless I read it too quickly. What is/are the outward differences between the two models, or are you saying that there was no red ZA55 produced in the Luton factory?

Congratulations. Post some photos when you can, and I hope you can obtain a print copy of the manual. In the meantime, here is a scanned copy of one that another poster uploaded: https://vacuumland.org/threads/canadian-electrolux-zb55-owners-manual.2683/

Worldwide Electrolux Cylinder/Tank Type Z Series Photos 1949-c.1986

It seems to me that those models were introduced after the ones featured in my posts—in the mid- to latter 1980s and later; although anything is possible. I think Doug Smith's website contains at least some of them.

    Electrolux/volta u194 Aus Del vacuum

Sorry to hear about your unwellness; I hope & pray for your full recovery soon. Your medicinal lightly-used Volta U194 that you just obtained is quite something! It is appears to be quite similar to the Windsor Blue & Light Grey Electrolux UK Z94, produced from 1971 to 1974 . How awesome...

Hello, and asking for help with an Electolux polisher, 1960s

Hi and welcome, Graham. AB Electrolux's B9 Floor Polisher was designed by Sixten Sason (1912-1967). The first mention of it in an online database was in 1955 (see attached snippet view), and it was made in various series for different worldwide markets denoted by a single letter as you...

I uploaded these in chronological order. I had forgotten that uploaded several at one time scrambles the order. Ugh.

    Electrolux UK - US - CA Cylinder/Tank Vacs Exhibition - 1949-2025

Electrolux UK (1921), US (1924), & CA (1931) online photos & information collected, organized, and posted here as a guide rather than as an historical record. A limited amount of company literature was available to me as a resource; instead the information is largely from observation...

    Electrolux Z62 - replacement tube

Here's its Singer fraternal twin with red trim from Germany, model ZA62. It's the first time I heard of an Electrolux cleaner being rebadged by the company and interesting that the model ID was the same as its original.
