Opinions on building a pristine Dyson DC01 to store?

Matt, I actually didn't take one of the underside (and its bagged up in the attic now), but the brushroll is new. The compromise was a grey cradle.

Electricity Prices- what do you pay?

We had our shop bill for three months the other day. £2200 The formula works like this: two girls ÷ shop + heat [needed] x British winter = £

which is better dual cyclone or root cyclone

There is a lot to be said for the DC04. The DC33 - years later - is running on many of the same parts anyway. That says a lot. I like DC07's but they do have their cyclone problems. On the DC14, they went back to filter in the top of the cyclone and they have more in common with the DC04...

Opinions on building a pristine Dyson DC01 to store?

Last one here...... I got anal towards the end even seeking out early script new tools from our boxes. It isn't perfect, but I am pretty pleased with the end result.

Brand new parts included: Motor, brushroll, bumper, bin and insert, cable protector and stretch protector, the rest was the best of the last couple of dozen machines we broke for spares.

    Expert advice needed.

I have no experience of Sebo. Again, I merely suggested what *I* would do based on the OP. You seem to have a bee in your bonnet about something. Forums were for the exchange of views last I looked, not to train everyone to sing from the same sheet. Calm down fella.

Quote: Coming from Gorton - you must realise that people aint made of money

Our location is of little relevance FWIW. We sell very little locally. But I agree that the area our shop is in is an economic wasteland.

I'd stick with the DC14 and find out why it isn't performing as well as it once did. We can have any Dyson in the range as we sell them, but my wife still loves our DC14.

    DYSON DC06

We heard from a guy at Dyson that Roomba overtook them with the technology and they were not able to compete back then. Now would be different though. I agree Dyson should release one, then we could sell our Roomba at home!

    Identify this strange Dyson tool?

I suppose I should know this. But I don't.......... We got a pile of new [old] Dyson stuff in recently, and this was among it: The colour suggests pre-DC07. The wheels suggests it is designed for floor use. But from what model? With what specific purpose? A photo of the...
