    Thank you ! The phone is an ITT 500 it was produced from 1964 and retired by 1980 Everything was green then ! Lol

    Thought I’d share with you this great pic I took after restoring a 1967 DS80! Fun fact : star screws were used to fasten the wheels on these beauties . Which tbh is a pain if you don’t have a star screwdriver 😆

    This 1938 Kirby 2C model, the grandpa of all 500 series vacs and beyond , was in a pretty bad shape . It was a challenging restoration bc of the deep scratches and corrosion over the years .

    Les No I just polished them , bc I had to remove the trim which i prefer not to but in this case the original was in bad shape and broke . Here is a 4C with the trim and unpolished rivets . In this case I didn’t remove the trim before polishing .
