Yep Yepper My G4 did the same thing, the brushroll w/ belt tensions the fan and the fan pulled down just a tiny bit and it would make a squealing sound. It's really no problem, actually. I would oil the bearings just to see if it works. :)

Hey, I took apart my Concept to fix the internal wiring that leads to the Headlight sockets, I took off the cover for the cord rewind. I put it back, fitted snugly. One problem. Now the rewinder will not turn all the way, then there would be three feet of cord left behind. It would stop midway...

When I got it it had a DAM bag in it, the brush strip broken, and no headlights. I do need help re-wiring the headlights so they work again, I am trying to get the motor assembly out in order to get to the wires.

How rare is this? I got it at a garage sale for $1, and I cleaned it up. I believe it is from the 1950's??

Hey, I am a little shocked after my Olympia One started to die down. It would sound like it would die from there. Then the bag light would come on and it thinks it's full. i think its the carbon brushes, because it has no signs of burning or smoke. Any ideas? I would LOVE to use this again...
