    Filter Queen Optima

@dysonman1 That's interesting to hear there are three different models. Haven't seen anything posted anywhere about a vacuum cleaner convention happening this year. Can you share a link?

    Filter Queen Optima

@panasonicvac That last Link's pretty cool you can see what the bag actually look like originally. I searched the vacuum land the other day and didn't find very much. Glad you managed to link some stuff thank you so much man! @tylerhawkins84 I definitely agree. Filter Queen is on life support...

    Filter Queen Optima

@thevacomaticiec Nobody was talking about other brands or YouTube . We're talking about a rare variant of a filter Queen. If you have nothing to add on that subject don't reply.

    Filter Queen Optima

I found this really old video that looks like it's made by another collector.

    Top loading bagged Beam?!

Yes indeed there is a top loading bagged compact Beam central vacuum. The seems so unlike Beam to make I just had to share it with you all here.

    New Miele stickvac

That's interesting to see. That nozzle is definitely a WW EBK250

    Filter Queen Optima

@blackheart this is only the second one I've ever seen in person and the only one I've ever heard of being converted to filter Queen cones. It's through a Henry bag in it for now. The last one I saw did have HEPA bags and there is a small latch at the bottom of the canister that holds the bag in...

    Filter Queen Optima

I was wondering if anybody had any of the original brochures or manuals for their Filter Queen Optima they could take pictures and share? Last time I saw one of these things I was in college. Here we are almost two decades later and a friend of mine pick this up for me. Unfortunately I don't...

Domel and Johnson Motors Used in Electrolux and Aerus Models

Steel city has a Johnson motor replacement Kit. But it's going to make the machine sound funny. I think you're better off to find a used vintage motor on eBay

Miele "Jazz" Dynamic U1 Upright Motor Issues

I would bring it to a local dealer and see what they say.

@thevacomaticiec I've been thinking a lot about your post. I believe this Domel motor would probably be the best option in terms of power that would actually fit inside a TriStar. Thought you'd find an interesting. https://www.domel.com/product/496-traditional-2-stage-73

Sebo D1 Canister Vacuum - Pros and Cons?

@eurekaprince So we're vacuum collectors we enjoy having multiple machines. Probably most of us have hundreds by now. But the idea of using two different machines and somehow having more reliability is kind of flawed. That's actually more to break. Especially when we're talking about...

    What happened to the OnePwr?

@eureka1998 Glad to hear you like your new vacuum! It's a keeper for sure.

Sebo D1 Canister Vacuum - Pros and Cons?

I think the D4 makes a lot more sense than the D1. An electric power nozzle is valuable! However if you wanted a turbo nozzle you might opt for the smaller E2. My thoughts precisely on that.

    a project dreams

So a patriot might be for you. That's basically what a patriot is plus some other changes. The problem with using the TriStar body is there's not enough room to fit a central vacuum motor that would actually give it more power. Now you could probably fit a single stage Domel motor in there...

    Dyson DC-17

Hey I just wanted to share my Dyson DC17 with the good fooks here I was wondering if anybody's ever tested the suction at sea level? It's quite diminished up here at around 15" working and 50" Sealed.

    Simplicity 7300 still going strong

These are really cool machines they're starting to get brittle. But if you can find one in good condition they're definitely worth picking up. I've been on the parole for one for a couple of years myself. Thanks for sharing the pictures of yours.

    Tri-star brushless motor?

Sounds like a rumor to me. I would be very surprised with the current state of TriStar if anything else ever gets developed.
