    Barry, There are more, better DAMs in attic in many pretty colors.The Power Drives were shipped in one piece.The handle can be removed on non PD for easier shipping. Les, I have had very few wide tracks.All are gone but may have a brush and bottom plate. Jimmy 423-268-4841

    Hoover Spirit S3431

    Spirit Nice vac. I like them best as straight suction paired with an upright. The rear has 2 tabs with screws under foam strip over filter. Make 1 knife cut over center of screws and peel foam strip back in both directions. Remove screws. Then lift cover from front and unsnap at rear

    Replacement hose

    CB Hose The CB2000 hose or any standard(non electric) hose will fit the CB or any Electrolux back to the MoXXX.If you have a worn CB hose with good ends now you might want to unscrew ends and see if a vacuum store would have a flexible hose to fit.

    "Tools Lock--" There was a time in the mid 50s that a few Eureka tools(one wand,floor & rug tool)had a pin that pushed and twisted to lock. Great information above on a great and beautiful vac!

    Jeff, The nozzle latch is NO.The upright attachment sets are MAYBE.There should be some from 60s & 50s with cardboard caddys and possibly 30s with long flat box.I have several things from your above list but so far no hose. Jimmy

    Paul, Reply 106 serial number and bags,top to bottom --1940A,1489A,2087A, same --yes, no, no, yes torn at bottom. There is much literature in a box somewhere. Most of these should be easy to service/repair under the layer of dust. Other Eurekas were not ready for their close up.

    Mo L cordwinder First-Use caution with any cordwinder spring.If they get loose they can cut you very quickly! With cord reel and spring in housing let spring go on small reel with no tension,then wind cord reel 3 times,replace cover and test.This should help. The models L & G were among the...

    Barry, Very nice clean air,self adjusting,trouble free upright.I like this style better than the heavier,bulkier on board hose/attachment style.This one could have a standard or deluxe attachment set that was quick and easy to use.
