    Want to donate some vacuums

Here is what I would do I would keep the Bissell canister. It sounds like due to your new flooring, this machine will suit your house well. Canisters are great for floors and in my opinion, are just more convenient all around. I for one HATE using an upright for stairs and upholstery. I guess...

Has anyone else ever owned this hooover ?

I've owned a few of these I had a yellow one just like this one a few years ago, along with a red one very recently. They have decent suction when the filters are clean. They also use a very aggressive brushroll, just like its bagged counterparts. Sadly, it really does use a terrible bagless...

    My Christmas Presents to myself!!

I've longed for a new Rainbow for a couple of years now but I could never justify the price. Recently, I had contact with a fellow collector who had an interest in a few Filter Queens of mine. We had a few discussions and he asked if I had an interest in a Rainbow E2 Black. I said I was, but...

Whatever happened to these Aerus uprights?

I don't think these are Aeruses. It looks like they took two toy Dirt Devil Deluxes, painted them black and stuck the Aerus logo on them. Still very unique though.

Royal In Good Shape FOR SALE

Good luck selling the Royal I used to have that same model. I still have one with the more modern B bag set up. They are fantastic carpet cleaners and are nearly indestructible.

My first Kirby (G2000 Gsix G6 Limited Edition)

Very nice Kirby A family friend of ours used to have one. I think it was replaced by a Miele upright. I have a picture of me at a vacuum exhibit my museum had in 2003 standing next to a G6 Limited Edition and a Singer Twin Turbo upright.

    Hoover Guardsman Bagged - Discontinued?

I'm glad the Tempo is made here It's a great value. My Aunt's Tempo has been used heavily for five years and it's still going. The only part that has been replaced is the hose (besides the belt, which is just normal wear). I see plenty of 15+ year old Windtunnels still going too.

    Royal Privilege Vacuum Cleaners

I used the Dirt Devil version once. It was a decent machine. Cleaned carpet well and had decent airflow. I remember it being a bit heavy and inconvenient though.

A couple of Filter Queen questions

I can answer the first question As you are using genuine Filters, there is no need to use the carbon filter as very little dust gets past that primary filter. If you need to control odors, I like to suck up laundry beads with each vacuuming.

    Estate sale free find.

Nice Twin Fan It looks like the bumper may be missing? I used to have a twin fan from that era (late 80's-early 90's) but without the cord reel. They are very loud but are fairly powerful. I have a one Speed BOL Singer Powermaster and a 2 speed Kenmore Twin Fan- both from the mid-70's.

    What's your favorite bagless sweeper?

Same here, Sheetstyler! My 2000 Rainbow E Series, 1992 Filter Queen Majestic and my Fantom Thunders/Kenmore Destinys are easily my favorite machines. By the way, you have a very nice example of a Fantom Thunder.

If you could only keep one vacuum cleaner which one would you choose?

Hrrmm.... Most likely, my Rainbow E-Series (One Speed). I am perfectly find having that as my only vacuum cleaner.

Expirience With 90's/EARLY 00's Dirt Devils

I've had a few of these Dirt Devils over the years. Swivel Glides, Vision uprights, a Vision canister, a Plus, an MVP, an Ultra MVP, the original Featherlite, a Sensation, hand vacs, stick vacs. I was never that fond of Dirt Devils but I did like the Ultra MVP I used to have. The original...

    FOUND A WILDCAT!! HELP NEEDED!!!

Did you get the Lightning as well? Congrats on finding a Wildcat so fast! I wouldn't be surprised if that has been down there for a while. Eventually, I will be going back to the vacuum shop where I found about a dozen Fantoms (most of which I took). If I happen to find a dustbin for a Wildcat...

    Nice Hoover Dimension on Shopgoodwill

That's a nice Dimension 1000 I have a red Dimension 900 waiting at home for me to "play with" when I'm home for Thanksgiving Break!

    Westinghouse Wired (Fantom lookalikes)

A few clarifying points..... The Fantom Wildcat was originally intended to be CORDLESS. A few months ago, I found a business report from Fantom Technologies with very detailed information about the design of this vacuum, as well as the then recent introduction of the Fantom Fury "Special...

    Picking up a nice Royal

Very nice Royal! I have an Anniversary Edition from 1992. I personally prefer Royals to Kirbys. I happen to think that they clean and handle better. They are much lighter as well.

    Sanyo Upright Bagless Vacuum

I've owned a few Fantom Twisters.... I never cared for the Euro-Pro Fantoms but I did like that they were quiet. They seemed to have decent suction power too. The only one that interests me is the commercial model with the metal brushroller. I can't think of any other bagless vacuum that ever...
