Third Hoover Decade 80. I will have to get a new vinyl bag or figure out how to put a new zipper on this one. The zipper would move up or down, I tried spraying in the with WD40 no luck. So I had to cut around the zipper with scissors. I'm not a huge fan of green, but I really like this color...

that blue looks like it would be better suited to a Royal up That's what I thought when I saw the first pic. I didn't know that royal blue was a 50's color. If she was going to paint the hose and attachments, she should have painted them navy blue or gray.

All my vacs are bagged. I had two Royal Dirt Devils that lasted a year or two. I hated emptying the dirt I usually took it out side and dumped it into a plastic grocery bag. Love my Kirby and Electrolux vacs!

My AE and Olympia sometimes whistle if there is something caught in the wands or hose. I still remember the first the Olympia stopped and the lid popped, I thought something was wrong with it, scared the heck out of me.

I have AE and Olympia. Out of the two I like the AE the best, it's lighter, more quiet than the Olympia, and I like the shape of it better. Both are real workhorses.

I like them ALL, but I LOVE my Legend II!

Thanks you for the information Dave. I might have located a wand at a local vacuum cleaner shop. If he doesn't have the right wand, he also told me to bring my wand and he might be able to find a different bare floor brush to fit it.

That's the one I was thinking of getting, but the seller said if mine didn't have the gray rubber grommet not to chance it.

Bare Floor Brush

The bare floor brush will attach to the straight wand, but it won't touch the floor because the wand is staight and so it the end of the bare floor brush.
