    I did some sanding last night using the Kirby turbo sander on my Electrolux Olympia One. Thanks Fred, this is my first time at restoring a vacuum. I would really like to kick the persons butt who let it get in this shape, LOL.

    The bottom is a little rusty as well, but I'm not sure if I should sand and paint it or not. Maybe just sand it?

    Eureka Self-Propelled Upright Vacuums

    I rescued a Eureka self propelled upright from going to the junk yard. I cleaned her up, new bag and belt and she works perfectly. I gave her to a co-worker who is a single mom with two kids, I think she needed it more than I did.

    Just curious as to what everyone has to say. I really like the look of Kirby and Royal uprights, so I'm thinking of adding a couple (or maybe more) Royal uprights to my little but growing collection of vacs. Any particular Royal model that you would recommend?
