Now how often do you come accross one of these?!!! A good friend of mine gave me this Model G electric hose to add to my collection while I was in St. Louis this past week. I also found the wall brushes that match as well.

I found this at a Goodwill in Frankfort, KY while on my way back from St. Louis this week. Can anyone tell me when this model was made and also what types of bags/belt it takes? It is in nice shape but I still need to clean it up a bit. Thanks.

Hmmm... Of course I can't judge until after I see one in person, but after seeing the picture, I don't know how impressed I am with this vacuum. The front of the machine where the automatic control used to be looks bare or that it is missing something. I also wish the power nozzle had a dark...

elux89: You are right! The economy or "special" model came in 3 colors and is the vacuum the replaced the Model L: Brown (like the Olympia) Gray (like the Silverado) Off-White (like the Diamond Jubilee). Electrolux discontinued the vacuum after the Diamond Jubilee. They used the same...

Dynaflow Sears used to sell one that had a motorized power nozzle. It was the same power nozzle that the older Mieles used. However I think the newer ones only come with the turbo nozzle.
