    Ok I've got the motor, it is a genuine Hoover motor with part number 43174-668 HD28. Just realised that the plastic is cracked on the side where the motor cooling fan is. Sure it won't affect performance. See pic

    Sorry for late reply. Been a busy weekend. Postage is whatever service you want me to put it on. I can get it via a courier for about £5/£6 or the post office is prob about the same as its in a box. No price in mind for the vacuette hand held - no idea what it's worth. Postage again £5/£6...

    Having a clear out and have a vacuette to part with. It's not being used as I have wooden floors and it's a shame for it to just be sat doing nothing. I don't have a price in mind so just make me a sensible offer :)

    I think it is cleaning solution. In the cleaning cupboard there is a sink. I think the floor has got wet from the sink being used to fill buckets and stuff. It then means the cleaner head is standing in it. Whilst not deep water and metal do not mix.

    Yes I love the manual height adjust. Only need an upholstery tool. Really good machine and nice to use. Dc07 upstairs. The dc01 was too short so being 6ft2 the exhaust was pointing towards the floor and just blew dirt around.
