Finally preparing the Vacuum "gallery". Care to see some HOOVERS?

Sorry to detract from the original thread. But J Murray: If they've not already done one, talk to your doctor about having a Cat scan. I suffered for years with the same sort of symptoms you describe and had multiple blood tests etc, all negative . It wasn't until I changed doctor & was sent to...

Sebo_fan, Turbo500, Vacuumlover Sebo: Yes you were wrong, because I dared have a different opinion you posted a sarcastic reply that you could always tell the difference between a Repairer & Collector. I.e in your opinion I'm a Repairer not Collector.    Vacuumlover: Until the Owner of the...

Sad: I'm a member of many forums for collectors & restorers of different items, yes we will spend time discussing a technical part of a machine or the best way to repair damage or locate a fault or maybe re-finish say a  Vintage radio. But never before have I come across a group of supposed...

What do you like/love when vacuuming?

Hey Turbo500 I hate vacuuming period, the noise goes through me. Years ago when I was a kid, I could sit & listen to the cleaner or washing machine ( twin tub in those days) & happily drift off to sleep but not anymore. I repair old power tools for people as well & get a real buzz from bringing...

5.8 Windsor or 7.5 liter 460 Ford engines

Hey guy's: Thanks for your replies to my question about gas prices, much appreciated. Prices have dropped a bit over here in most places, it's down to around £1.11 a litre for Diesel & £1.15 for petrol. That's the lowest it's been in probably 13 years.

    RIP Silver King?

Seems that US manufacturers are going the way of the UK. Most of our manufacturers have gone as well, nowadays people want top quality appliances but not the prices. Wonder how long Dyson will last at the prices they charge.

What price do you pay for a gallon of petrol ?. We're having cars with smaller & smaller engines due to the cost of fuel. Depending on where you buy fuel over here, you can pay anywhere from £5.75 to £8.00 a gallon for petrol & diesel is even worse.
