    1930s Delco

I had discovered this vacuum at the Denver Tri-Star dealer several months ago, but it hadn't really caught my interest when I first saw it. This last weekend while I was at Stan Kann's house, we were playing with some of his old cleaners, and one was a Delco similar to the one I had seen. I was...

Simplicity Vacuums-The Vacuum You'll Flip Over!

Tacony, who makes the Riccar and Simplicity cleaners, makes a great product. There are a few differences in the Simplicity 6 and 7 series and the Riccar counterparts, however, the other models are identical mechnically. Again, they are very good vacuums.

    Rare black electrolux ultralux

I still have to say that model is the best looking Electrolux.

    Rare black electrolux ultralux

The VCCC actually has one of these, that can be seen every year at the convention, which will be in Omaha this year. It has been well taken care of and has all the tools, so its quite a thing to see. Tom Gasko (with a lot of convincing) talked Electrolux into donating it to the club while he was...

    plastic brush damage

The DC01 was never sold here, so I doubt that will be possible to find.

    plastic brush damage

Its not necessarily that the bristles are plastic, its how stiff they are. Plastic bristles can be anywhere from wire brush stiff to feather soft, it just depends on how they are made. All the bristles have to do for proper agitation is move the fibers to loosen the dirt and fuzz, they dont have...

    Kirby Dual Sanitronic 80 Pictures

All Kirbys since the D50 have 2 speed motors. One speed is used when vacuuming the floor, and the other when the hose is beeing used (not sure about the other tools they had). This is done automatically with the safety switch at the bottom of the fan chamber opwning.

    Kirby Dual Sanitronic 80 Pictures

As they say... It's the cat's meow. THe D80 is one of my favorite Kirbys when it is in good shape, and probably the ugliest when beat up, and yours looks pretty good. It is a light Kirby, but still has a good 2 speed motor and good power.

    Oreck XL21

All of the current Oreck fans are made of the plastic material they call Metaxalloy. The older standard fans used to be metal.

I have one of those Oreck canisters with the Cap 175 power head. I'm currently waiting on the wand end for the hose, but I can post my take on it when that gets here.

    Central Vacuum Turbo Kit

I would still suggest looking into a Riccar/Simplicity electric tool kit. I have been very happy with mine.

    Christian Klingspor Eureka

This begs the question Who is Christain Klingspor and why does he have his own vacuum?

I can guarantee That you won't find a direct connect hose that cheap.

    QUIT VACUUM

Definatey Sebo then. I would go for the 370 commercial. I have sold a few of these to commercial users and they love them, and they seem to last forever.

    QUIT VACUUM

I would go with the Sebo.

How to clean the paint scuffs?

I haven't noticed denatured alcohol damaging paint or plastic surfaces, which is why I like using it. I do know that laquer thinner will damage plastic and remove paint tho, and it smells terrible.
