    end results Well I got the hood off lens back in place there are little chips but hardly noticeable unless your right up to it. I put in a brand new bulb and gave it a good clean up and I've used it a lot so it feels special lol. thanks to all who contributed

    thanks Thanks guys. I did pry it out foolishly not knowing what I was doing o just changed a few bulbs on my other machines and wanted to take a crack at this one unfortunately that's exactly what I did thanks for the help hopefully it wont look to bad being chipped.

    I'm going to vent a little here. today I broke another vac. I Always end up breaking something on a vac when I attempt a repair on Kirby's its stripping screw heads recently on my hoover I broke hood parts trying to get a lens out I removed. does every one do there homework before hand already...

    if i was you i would Look into a Hoover wintunnel self propelled. Mines been really good to me it has good suction good airflow is fun to use and really is a good clean air vacuum.
